Has anyone here ever done the tax refund at eurostar when coming back to london from paris? How was the experience? I am going to paris in august to purchase my first chanel

I also heard that in bon marche they have their own refund service where you can do it at the store, is that true?

I just got back from France, and submitted my forms via the Pablo kiosk at the Nice airport on June 27th. I made quite a few purchases, and was surprised to see all of my refunds were pending on my credit cards on the 29th, and completed a day or two after that. I was very pleasantly surprised how fast it was.
my last trip was in 2019, and the VAT refunds came in much slower 1 to two weeks.

YES YOU CAN DO TAX FREE SHOPPING IN THE UK DEPENDING ON YOUR HOME COUNTRY…

- IF your country has a low import duty rate then all the big brands will export the items to your home address less the tax. My friends over from HK took a CF and WOC, they paid a shipping fee and saved around 14%. HK is 0% duty so it’s possible to do this in the UK, just not all countries if they have high duty rates. You must have the item shipped however.

I have a friend in Hong Kong who never buys luxury bags. I will be visiting her soon. I was wondering if I could order something from selfridges or mytheresa, and have it shipped to Hong Kong- would there be any duties/taxes? She has no idea about import taxes since she doesn’t really shop overseas especially for luxury goods.

Hello, I have a question regarding tax free shopping (at Tiffany) at Singapore Changi airport. We are soon going on holiday and we are flying via Singapore Changi. But I am not a bit confused about the tax free shopping. It says online that you need a passport either with a valid social visit stamp or a valid Electronic Visit Pass (e-Pass). But I also read on another site that you do not necessary get a stamp on arrival. But where do I get that e-Pass? Or do I thinkg to complicated and I only need my passport? Thank you so much in advance!

Not sure if anyone knows but…I purchased a bag in Paris and the SA gave me the envelope and paperwork inside. My last stop in Europe was in Madrid and I got a stamp on my papers. I was supposed to go through security and then find the counter, but didn’t have time. So now my question is, since I have the stamp from customs, can I mail the prepaid envelope back on my own? Is that suffice?

I believe you can mail them. However, i was at CDG Paris leaving for home and scanned items through Pebleo Koisk and the man there told me everything is done electronically and I should take pictures of my papers and throw them away. I brought my papers back and within 3 month found my VAT return processed and returned to my credit card. Hope this helps.

Hello, hoping someone can help - at the pablo kiosks in CDG is it enough to scan the vat forms or do I need to drop the envelope in the box as well?

Yes no need to drop envelope into box anymore. You just need to scan. If the item flags then you need to take it to the desk for inspection. My form flagged up and when I went to the desk they didn’t even inspect my items when I went to the desk - they just looked at my passport and said yes it’s fine.

does anyone know if you can resubmit a rejected by customs vat refund form? scanned at diva kiosk but it said to go to customs. the line was long and didn’t have time to wait so i left. when i go to global blue page, it displays “rejected by customs”
