Dooney Sightings - Dooneys in the wild!

Cute! I want a backpack purse so badly but so can’t seem to make it work for me lol
It's a vintage Duck crossbody bag. There's a new version out now. All Weather Leather 2 Duck Bag.

Too small for me.... but a classic. I've been tempted to buy it several times,
just to have it.... but I talked myself out of it. Too many handbags, not enough
days of the week to wear them.
I usually have a picture to go with my post so I'll just post a picture of the bag I was carrying that day. (Still carrying.) I had Jury Duty recently and we weren't allowed to take pictures. I complimented a woman on her zip zip satchel and she complimented me on my suede satchel. She loves her bag and uses it all the time. Another woman was too far away to talk to. She was carrying the big double zip crossbody bag that was so popular on QVC. (I don't see it there now to get the proper name.) I think these are the two most popular bags I see.
I was carrying my suede bag, which I plan to carry the rest of the winter. (But I do have a new Dooney coming soon which I'll share in the mini reveal thread.) This was at lunch on Jury Duty day. I didn't see the ladies outside during the break.

It isn't just seeing a D&B in the wild, but even hearing the brand mentioned on TV. I remember an episode of Blackish and the mother/M-I-L gets a package and prays it is a D&B bag. So cute!
Yes! I remember that because my DH actually played the episode for me so I could hear it. He doesn't realize how much he pays attention to the brand.
I am sure my husband hears much more about Dooney bags than he wants to from me. I trap him at the gym when our treadmills are next to each other and he must listen. I love seeing Dooney bags too. And what I enjoy is when I compliment someone they are usually friendly and love talking about their bag. Even if it's just a quick exchange they say thank you with a big smile.
