I hear ya! Wish DB would bring back the pgl Cooper. I've never owned the flo, mainly because the design has no stiffness - it's structurally very relaxed. The pgl Coopers hold up to rough treatment extremely well. I'd love a brand new blue. It's a very comfortable bag & the magnets just find each other. I've never had a better magnetic closure bag.

I just gave away my Flo Cooper in elephant. Beautiful handbag,
magnificent leather. I never used it because I really dislike that
color. Hopefully it will be loved in it's new home.

Bet that was a gorgeous bag when new. I'm with you - I have a PLG lavender satchel but haven't come across one in flo before.
This is up in chestnut Florentine too. These are nice size sacs. some reviews said they were too big. There’s no such thing as too big, in my humble big bag girl voice…
I like the pgl satchels mainly for the colors & no mar attribute, but given a choice of a pretty color I'd still go for the flo, although the florentine are always heavier. The pgl satchels are quite stiff when new (at least the older ones are). Judging by my new pgl drawstring the pebble leather bags currently aren't as thick so they're not quite as stiff.
Here's the lavender pgl. I'd load the pink one too but for some reason it doesn't want to load this morning. This lavender was purchased around 2016 or so.

of the Florentine collection in the early years. There were times when the
small Flo satchel on QVC was shown in over 20 colors.... all at the same time.
I really miss those days. 😣
The Dooney boutique offered some of the colors, in the small satchel and
in the mini satchel, but usually not all of them
in the same season. I also remember a raspberry, which I bought in the
large satchel because I had to own the color. It was too heavy for me then,
even empty. But I haven't parted with it. 🤩

The Dooney small satchel (Florentine style) was available in a very
soft and smooshy lightly pebbled leather. It was called Samba leather,
not to be confused with the Dooney Samba collection. 🙄
I used my dark grey Samba leather small satchel (Made in USA) just this week and
it was so soft that I had a hard time keeping it standing up when my
things were inside and not properly balanced! I was frustrated,
but concluded that it was my fault for not organizing my contents properly.
Very few of these Made in USA Samba small satchels were available, and they
sold out very quickly.

So in your experience purchasing D&B bags throughout the years, if given a choice between older and newer PG & Flo bags, which one would you buy?
