I just received the Kingston. I like it. Very spacious. She’s in great shape too. Just needs some sprucing up. And there are pockets behind the flap. The slats above are pockets too! They remind me of pants pockets, like how you put your hands into it.

She is a hefty lil thing, that’s for sure.

Anyways, I didn’t realise these style of bags have been around for so long. I found some receipts inside the pockets from 2013.

I just received the Kingston. I like it. Very spacious. She’s in great shape too. Just needs some sprucing up. And there are pockets behind the flap. The slats above are pockets too! They remind me of pants pockets, like how you put your hands into it.

She is a hefty lil thing, that’s for sure.

Anyways, I didn’t realise these style of bags have been around for so long. I found some receipts inside the pockets from 2013.

I think ILD had a better price in one of their ongoing sales. I was looking at this
bag yesterday.... if only it was the regular size I would have jumped on it.
Still debating, if it's still a good price on ILD.

Three Dooney treasures arrived today from the recent ILD sales.
All are in great condition and keepers.

The Florentine small Cassidy Crossbody bags in Chestnut
and Natural are exactly as I expected them to look. Great buys
for $85, with leather lining, and a small medium in size.
The leathers are thick and even, just a little dry.
The lining on 1 of the bags is a little wrinkly, but for that price,
not a big deal at all. I guess that one becomes mine, not a gift. 😁😁😁

The Flo Large Domed Satchel in Navy is a winner. Perfect condition.
Thick leather, no visible defects. Glad I returned the first one and
was lucky enough to get a fresh one at a slightly better price.

I noticed that all the Flo Large Domed Satchels have disappeared from ILD.
I went back to see if the Chestnut was still available, and there are none,
in any color. Guess that saves me from myself. 🤣 There is only 1 color
left in the regular size Flo Domed Satchel, the little sister to the large.

And the Flo Small Drawstring is still available, but not in the light taupe,
which is the color I needed (OK, wanted.) I have other D/S bags in
other leathers/styles in the other colors, so I can hopefully resist duplicating the
colors, just to get a Florentine one.

Anyone else get any treasures yet?

Yay! I’m so glad all were keepers. Glad your large navy domed was better than the last. from your descriptions I can tell you were pleased and that makes me happy. That sale was so good I guess a lot of the items sold out.
that flo drawstring that’s on sale is tiny. I’ve looked it up on YouTube to get a feel on the size. It’s super cute, but way smaller than the Logan. Would be a nice summer carry.

Would you mind posting some photos of your bag? I have REALLY been considering this bag, and I like the red contrast with the navy.

Now that the large dome Flo is gone, that saves my pocketbook. All the flo kisslocks & coin purses are gone.

Congratulations on you Kingston. It looks great. you say it’s hefty, is it comfortable on your shoulder? I like the look of it.

I typically don’t like shoulder bags, but I did find the bag and strap, were comfortable for wearing. If that makes sense. The strap is pretty thick, and there’s 5 holes on each side, so you can adjust it.

I find sometimes a shoulder bag bothers me because the strap is too thin for the bag. This is how I feel about the Buckley. If the strap was thicker to accommodate the massiveness of the bag, it would even out the weight distribution.

I got a package today. It came a day early. It is in damn near new condition. it couldn’t have been carried more than a few times. It’s smooth and feels like that thick thick old Florentine. The color is brown tmoro, but the tag and registration say small ivy satchel… I know this isn’t Ivy and again I have no idea the name. I’m happy she’s in my collection

Yeah. I got a guitar strap for my Buckley.

That’s a great idea! I’m gonna look around for one. I love the Buckley, but she’s a big girl.

I included some views of the strap on the Kingston. The leather on this one is really thick, and pebbling. She is very sturdy, definitely no sagging with this bag. I do think there is a difference in leather quality throughout the years. In my opinion, the older Flo’s have this thicker, sturdier feel. My black micro satchel had a smoother feel, and stronger leather smell.

*If she looks blotchy in the pix, it’s because she’s drying. I gave her a thorough cleaning inside & out.
