I don't own this bag, but I remember seeing the style from the early Florentine
handbag years.
Over the years Dooney has used a lot of tab closures and button closures.
Check the pictures for the condition of this element. I think
the act of opening/closing these types of tabs puts stress on that piece of leather
and it can curl or look very worn.

Beautiful. Are these small or large? Can you compare their size to the small flo satchel? I think there is a new Florentine version of this style on site in only 2 colors tho

Thanks 😊! They are large. Per DB they are the same size as the large Flo satchel but somehow (to me at least) they carry more comfortably than the large flo satchel.
Thanks for the heads up on the DB Stanwich listing but it is in pb leather. It's gotta be in florentine.

Oh did it? Now DB stated measurements for the Stanwich are the equivalent to large flo measurements.

i never thought this day would come. I haven’t seen anything I am wanting for my collection. I am all for the hunt, but there’s not much catching my eye. Guess I’ll be looking Black Friday and cyber Monday. Ive gotten most everything I’ve wanted and it’s a real decision making process to choose a bag of the day to carry. But oh how I enjoy my choices…

Enjoy the peace and quiet and let your piggy bank fill up again.
There will be bags to tempt you, if not now, then in the spring.
Or you will see some new colors in the bags you already love,
and decide you must have them in your collection. All of a sudden you
will see a teal or a mustard Florentine bag somewhere and decide you
must have it. Or an old color will pop up and there will be a beautiful
blue or a kelly green or a crimson or a purple that will tempt you. 😁
