Florentine Red Tassell bag I'm wearing today and I'm packing my Steel Blue Russell Tote for an overnight trip tomorrow.

I was so blessed to find this older Red Tassell bag in new condition! I wanted the Red double pocket satchel but this one is a dream for me to carry with the generous shoulder straps.

Haven't used this Russell yet. I noticed the Steel Blue in this tote is very soft...almost like it's been broken in. But structured still!

My clippa hasn't arrived yet. From the description it will hold the weight of a large
Florentine handbag. But I haven't tried it and sometimes the bulk of a bag is an issue,
not just the weight. I think longer straps/handles make it more likely the clippa
will work. Using the short handles on the satchel might create a balance issue depending
upon where you are hanging the bag.

Does the steel blue look grey in person?

No, it would not be too heavy. Their website says it holds up to 33 pounds.
From my personal experiences I have used my clipa to hold my bag, my sister's bag and my BFF's bag when we went out to dinner. Several times I have used it to hold two bags and/or one bag a packable backpack with groceries. When the bus is crowded I use my clipa to hook my bag and backpack on the handle on the seat in front of me or the bar if there is no seat in front of me.
When my BFF and I went shopping it held our bags and shopping bags when we stopped for lunch.

Ah that makes sense with the longer handles. I'm tired of trying to avoid the floor at doctor appointments.

Now this Steel Blue color is so hard to get an accurate photo! I tried for you. 20230921_152515.jpgThe best I can say is the color is like a Chambray Jean. I remember you, me and Purple flower weren't quite enthralled with it at first. It's really grown on me. It was like Elephant for me. A little washed out. Now I see it as a neutral as it leans toward gray, blue and even a purple tinge.

WOW all that plus a bag of chips it holds! I need one for sure. I am always searching for a hook, ledge or a chair :)

I am so sorry I posted big red here to entice you to find your satchel again...but she is RuedeNestle worthy lol. I never had a red bag before I came here and now I see....❤️

Thanks for the photo. It's a beautiful color. Most of the pics I've seen make it look very grey, but your photo really highlights the blue tones. Enjoy this treasure.
