Does the made in stamp make a difference?

I purchased a pocket organizer yesterday and looked at a few before picking the one I liked most. I totally forgot to check the made in stamp and realized at home that it is made in the US. Would this be something I should try and exchange ? Or would you keep a perfect piece even if it was made in the US?

If there’s nothing wrong with it, why exchange it? I guess I don’t understand the desire to have a MIF/MIS bag just because it reads MIF/MIS. I have pieces from all over and don’t see a difference between any of them. As long as the piece is well made (no missing/broken stitches, clean, good alignment, no scratches, etc...) I’m a happy camper. Just my opinion.

I have some slgs made in France and one in Spain. Honestly none are absolutely perfect in craftsmanship. But they serve their purpose. That all that matters to me.

I had bought a key pouch made in the US. But exchange for a card holder, due to thinking the quality won't match my first key pouch longevity of use.
