Does it matter to you where your LVs are made?

I don't have an Alma but I always thought that it was on the outside of the bag close to the bottom of the bag.

Yes, it is on the side near the bottom.

I don't care. But I've been pleasantly surprised to find out after-the-fact that they were made in france.

I wanted one made in France so I bought from a MPRS in the UK -- it is a Speedy 25 made in 2004, (just the slightest hint of patina when I got it) and I wound up paying nearly as much as "new", but it was worth it to me.

I prefer foreign made LV's. I really don't care, per say, but I do get a little more excited when my LV's come from Spain or France

LVbabydoll--thanks for your input about the LV boutiques BTW, what is ur fav "Nice" restaurant in that area? I am always looking for new ones to try.

I really like the Winesellar & Brasserie (edge of Del Mar, end of Sorrento Valley area), the Ruths Chris steak house (they have so many good things on their menu!) and Jakes Del Mar is really good. It's right on the water and that's where my friends and I went for prom a couple years ago. Their food is delicious!

i don't think it should matter where it's made cuz the quality is exactly the same. It's more of a preference thing, some people prefer US made, some prefer France, or Spain...
I prefer it made in France, but i wouldn't cry if i have one made in US or Spain, hehehehhe....

I would prefer U.S.-made bags over the others, but you usually don't have any choice.
