Does anyone wear a silk slip under their clothes?

I used to wear them all the time as a child. As an adult, slips have given way to Spanx. It is too hot here in FL for slips most of the year, but sometimes in the winter, I do wear them under my clothes for warmth, or to feel pretty and feminine, or for a special surprise for my guy;)

I have a Commando full mini slip that I wear under sheer sundresses. I also have a white cotton slip that came with an H & M dress I got- I use under a few of my sundresses as well. Other than that I don't really like them-I feel like they make dresses look lumpy instead of smooth-especially in a dress with a fitted waist. I might wear a thin tank under a wrap dress, but never a full slip.
