I don't purposely want to wear out my bags but if it is a style I love then I don't mind it wearing out as i t means that I really enjoy wearing it. There are very few bags that I have worn to the point of having to ask the cobbler to fix it. One of them is the LC cuir. I love this bag when it first came out years ago. Worn it to many wonderful places over the years I could have sold it before it got really bad but I really want to keep it so I had the cobbler fix it. Here's an old picture of the worn out corners.
