Does Anyone NOT Return A Bag?

Ive never returned a bag - exchanged one once. I find when I get the bag I like home, I'm twice as impressed with it - seems to look so much more impressive in my own personal space.

I've never returned a bag before. I got a cognac kooba last week that's been in my car waiting to go the post office all week. When I saw it IRL I just didn't know if it suited me or not. Now i'm wondering if I should keep it since I don't have a lot of shoulder handbags and it might be a nice trendy bag to use this summer.

I'm just not sure - then I think - well that's money that could go towards my Edith bag.

As you can see - i'm still on the fence.

^^^they'll take back almost anything, no time frame at least for in store purchases and online full price. I see that sometimes they say 30 days on clearance items online though.

The MJ Elise in Blush Patent Leather Bag from NM.com has obvious defects so I had to return it 2-3 weeks ago. The zippers were misaligned. The brown coatings, supposed to cover/seal the edges of the leather pieces (tied to the zipper pull), got onto other parts of the leather as well -- looks like lips with smeared lipsticks or nails with polishes extending past the cutticles. I was so disappointed. Don't know how these details can pass the quality control departments of MJ/NM -- they simply don't exist? -(

My situation is the same as valerie's. Almost all the bags I purchase are sight unseen. Since I haven't been able to gauge the bag IRL, sometimes they don't live up to my expectations upon arrival. I suppose if I only purchased bags IRL, then I would never make returns.

Me too. I have never returned a bag bought in person. Once I have a bag in my hands,on me,I know whether it's right or not. When in doubt,I don't. Buy,that is.
