does anyone know when is the July sale of Hermes in Paris?

does anyone know which season merchandise will be on sale in June/July?
will it be 2012 Fall? or 2012 Spring?
Thanks!
If you're asking about silk, most likely will be from S/S and F/W '11, some from 2010 and if you are extremely lucky 2009 and prior. SS '12 is highly unlikely but still a possibility.

Same for cashmere/silk GMs, right? so this means it is highly unlikely to find a Concours or CSMC GMs at the summer sale? Maybe next summer?:)

I checked the July 2012 sale thread and it looks like the dates of the sale were posted in early april.... so... my question is... Does anyone know the dates yet? Please-please-please share so those of us who are planning a trip can make it official and buy airfare :)

That´s also the H Sale:
"Les prochaines soldes Hermès démarreraient le même jour que les soldes officiels, soit à partir du 26 juin 2013.

Toujours au Palais des Congrès, porte Maillot à Paris, nul besoin d'invitation. Ces ventes exceptionnelles sont ouvertes à tous."

Yay!!!! :yahoo: Thank you!

How exciting! I'll be in the area on those dates! Is there a sticky on advice on how these sales queues work? I wonder how early we'll have to show up and camp out, and if there are purchase limits.

Hi Ladys,

iam in Paris during the Hermes Sale, now I wonder if I should go and visit the SALE ?
My Cousin told me that they mark every Sale Item with a ?
Why is that ? To point out that the Buyer didnt pay full Price ?

Can I wash it off from the Scarfs ? I dont want to waste my Time and to be honest I think thats very Rude to humiliate a lovely scarf like that :(

Thanx

Hi there,
Yes, sale scarves have a black S mark on it. Also, per my acquaintance, starting Jan 2013 H used a new color to stamp scarves with background.
The black S stamp looks like this and can be anywhere on, under, or in the area near the caretag.

Most likely you can't wash the S stamp. If you find some chemicals that can erase it, it's likely that the silk would be damaged as well.
Yes, it's such a rude thing that H treats their own scarves/craftmenship like that. Previously they claimed doing that so that people can't exchange old scarves for current scarves at the boutiques, but with the recent requirement of receipts for exchange/returns and a short 10-day window to exchange, I don't understand why the ugly stamps still have to be there.

Also, I believe there's a separate thread for July 2013 Paris sale if any mods want to merge:

No, the S cannot be washed off. To have a S stamp is to differentiate it from normal stock. And the scarves don't come with boxes either. If this is your first time to Paris, maybe concentrate on sightseeing?
