My 3 cats all do it! I started laughing reading what you said, it sounded so familiar!!! Its normal they go nuts, hop on me while i'm in bed sleeping, running from one side to the other like wild horses, jumping on things and hoping off.... its great lol Its not every night though, just when they feel like it, sometimes they do it during the day but they mostly sleep.
