Well, I don't have them on hand, yet, but I bought an Emerald Green Coin Purse for my mother, and a Cafe billfold for my father, belated 47th wedding anniversary presents for them. As I haven't received either one, yet, I was only able to copy a pic of what my dad's billfold looks like off the Balenciaga website. Check it out! Conservative enough on the outside, with a bit of ZING! on the inside...
Oooh Monsoon! Terry showed me the billfold when I was at BalNY not so long ago. The leather on those things are gorgeous. Plus an Emerald coin purse? Cute! Hmm, Emerald is slowly growing on me.

Hey, "P" incoral, that's what Kim, the SA I normally work with at BalNY was saying. I really didn't feel comfortable getting my dad something with the zippers, etc., but I wanted something with the gorgeous Bal leather we love. I'm glad that you've seen this IRL and that it's just as Kim described it to me. I'm excited about receiving the two items and giving them to my parents already!

I was eyeing that and the next thing I know, ****POOF!**** Congratulations, you lucky girl! I'll definitely post pics of the EG coin purse. The two wallets should be arriving on Thursday, so, stay tuned! 
My dad was the one who bought me my first designer handbag in the mid-to-late 70s -- a Charles Jourdan flap cover crossbody shoulder bag -- gotta give something back to the man who started it all for me, right? 
And, Mom, while very good at managing her money (goodness knows, much better than I!), is a total enabler when it comes to getting nice things that are superior quality. 
I've read stories about girls on here just instinctively buying things on eBay but had never experienced it myself before until this morning. I pushed that Buy It Now button so fast my head was spinning! 
Those are wonderful and very appropriate gifts for your parents, it sounds like! Fortunately for me, mine are usually happy with a nice bottle of Crown Royal. Maybe they'll get to be introduced to the world of luxury goods when I've finished school and am making millions as a Carrollian scholar.

This is gorgeous kattydc! I had the luck to see this beauty IRL at the boutique and it is just stunning! I regret not getting it. I know I'll be looking for this stunner when I go to BalNY at the end of the month or early April!

Cheshire, you got a pretty good collection of Bbags already...I'm sure once you're done with school you'll be able to add more to it, AND give some pieces to your parents, too.

KattyDC, that's the most beautiful wallet I've ever seen. Is it called a wallet, btw or a billfold? Is it rouge vif? Is BalNY the only place in America I could find it?
My pre-loved Sapin coin purse got here yesterday, but for whatever reason I'm not having any luck attaching a picture. It's beautiful, although I think I'm maybe even more in love with Monsoon's mum's Emerald. WoW!
Here she is! It is a beautiful colour, and now I've decided that if I can never find the perfect Emerald bag, Sapin would be lovely as well. Plus, the size is so great - when I go out to clubs now I'm going to put my phone, keys, cash, ID and debit card in here and leave the my wallet and purse at home. I had my wallet stolen at a bar a few months ago and I'm always scared that someone's going to tumble over and spill their gin and tonic all over one of my Cities. This one is easier to protect.
