You don’t wa t to use colored polish on your bag as it can silo off or melt in warmth/heat. If you have color issues take it to a professional and let them fix the color. If it’s only corners and you can do a perfect match a color correction with a leather paint can be done.
All the best doc
Thank you for your response. I ended up passing on it as it looked like they already had work done from someone other than Hermes spa.Hi Hermes won’t fix the cracks but they could fix your resins. A beautiful rare color chevre … congratulations! All the best doc
Hi
I am not specifically recommending ; the lexol cleaner which was called lexol ph in the past. In addition I especially do not recommend baby wipes which can break down the finish on finished leather.
all the best, doc
Hi there OG tpfer !HI fellow OG Ms. Docride.
I purchased a B30 Barenia from Fashionphile and was perplexed by a white ash look on either side of the birkin. The leather is Barenia Fauve Faubourg. Question is....what the best or safest conditioner for Barenia Faubourg.....or suggestions for how to handle the white ash.....dried look? And it's a D 2019. Thank you
Please post here on the threadI will inbox some pics in a bit. Its actually very hard to capture on camera but I will try. Thanks so much for this.
I apologize. I attached pics above but I forgot to tag youPlease post here on the thread
Kind of looks like the powdery oil bloom that is sometimes seen on newer barenia bags. Is it just in patches ? See if areas that get handled most do t have this white haze … what do you see? Here I have circled just one area I was able to capture it. Also a angle from the back that you may be able to see. I had to send screen captures because my phone kept telling me pictures were too large.

I’d say take it up Hernes for a cleaningAlso, here's a picture I took soon after opening and attached my charm. The powdery or ashy areas don't show well on pictures. Hard for me to explain...lol
I’m sorry I don’t recommend any particular shops. Nyc has some good shops Ive heard , ask to see their work or looks a reviews. Good luck I love your Christine bag so cool!Hi Docride,
I have a Christine bag that is in rough shape. I’m not the original owner but I got it for a fair price and it’s a style and color I have wanted for awhile.
I'm not expecting miracles, but I’m hoping to get the strap fixed and the color evened out. I’ve had a bag in a similar color restored by Leather Spa before, but I would love your thoughts on where would be the best place to take it. I’m in NYC. Thank you.
