When I got mine, I wasn't thrilled with the idea and didn't think I'd wear them all that much. To my surprise, I wear them all the time because they go with the most casual of outfits to the dressiest occasion. They truly can be worn anywhere for anything. I love mine (about .5 ct each or 1.03 ctw) but now want to go bigger.

I love diamond studs too. Mine are 0.45 carat each so on the smaller side but they are super sparkly. I recently had them reset in a martini setting and they now sit nice and flat to my ear and there is so little metal showing I never have to think about whether I am mixing metals when I change my jewelry from white gold to yellow gold :smile1:

I think like others have said they go with everything and can be dressed up and down. I always tend to notice when ppl are wearing diamond studs as well... A nice little twinkle near the face.

Recently, my husband wanted to buy diamond studs for my anniversary present. I agreed, but started bookmarking images of the eternity bands I'd be exchanging the earrings for after the trial period. Much to my surprise, I absolutely love my diamond studs. I dress very casually (read: jeans and a tshirt), and they always work with what I'm wearing.

P.S. I still have the bookmarks; they'll come in handy near my birthday. :tup:

Yes, more out of sheer laziness though. They brighten up a simple outfit. Mine are 0.5ct each, though I am considering a smaller pair as well. My other default are my pearls studs but they are more delicate than my diamonds. They are about 4-5mm.

I received my first pair of diamond studs ten years ago and I wore those almost every single day. They're so versatile that I can't really think of an instance where they wouldn't be appropriate. Now I have another pair that were given to me by DH on our anniversary... I wear those almost everyday. They look good with everything.

I don't wear mine as often as other earrings... I feel that the lock is not too secure and scared to lose them! But if I push it too lose to my ears it hurts and gives me headache.
