I wear a Blue Topaz. Both my husband and I were born in December a week apart and we met in December. So my e-ring is a Blue Topaz. Plus I love Blue Topaz!

That is really pretty.

Oh that's right. Blue topaz is December too. I do have a blue topaz charm on my Pandora watch that hub bought me because of it being my birthstone . I usually wear that watch.

My birthstone is pearl but i love sapphire, ruby or topaz more...with pearls, you have to be extra careful..i have a few pearl jewelries and i dont use it often especially in manual activities. When i have to wash my hands i have to remove it as well...and you have to use your pearls at least once a month to keep it hydrated by the oils of your skin otherwise it will rot...

Mine is an emerald. I would like to have an emerald ring someday but I understand it is a soft stone and subject to damage. So I kind of look around but not seriously. I saw this lovely ring on our recent cruise. It was beautiful but at $30k, I decided to hold off. I am going to do a right hand ring diamond at some point in the next few years so this would derail that plan for a while.

I thought I would share the picture with you anyway.

Thank you, that is one gorgeous ring! Hope it comes your way sooner than you think!

I'm a July baby and my birthstone is ruby. I have a ruby ring and 2 sets of ruby earrings and pendant, one in marquise and the other trillion cut. I rotate my ruby ring as my engagement ring, but I don't often wear my other ruby sets as it is too much.

I do have a little peridot ring that my biological father's mom gave to me about 10 years ago. I don't wear it often because it's 10k gold and turns my finger grey, the peridot is dull and poorly cut, and the little diamond accents are grey and do not sparkle. It was a sweet sentiment and I wore it a lot when I first got it, but it mostly just sits in my jewelry box now.

So far I've only seen one peridot that really speaks to me. It was a true green (little to no yellow or brown tinge many peridots have) and was a cushion that had a checkerboard effect, which looked amazing on the stone! However it was over 10 carats which was a little impractical for me at this point in my life. I'd prefer something 3-6 carats so I could get more wear out of it. The search continues!
