I just got back from a trip to Paris with my Lindy 30 (clémence, gold, GHW) as my primary day bag. It’s a great option for travel - flexible carry options, relatively secure closure, looks great of course and it holds all those extras that I might want to take with me on a long day out (cashmere, folding umbrella etc) or that I want to have to hand in-flight (kindle, earbuds etc).

My K Elan (Epsom, peppermint, PHW) came too - it’s earned a permanent place on my packing lists, for use in the evening.

May I know how you packed your Lindy 30? I brought mine on a quick trip but found it tricky to bring on my carry on. I definitely agree it's a better travel bag than the 26!

On this trip I travelled with checked luggage and used my trusty old LV keepall as my main carry-on item. So most things were carried in the LV, but the Lindy held my travel documents, card holder, sunglasses, reading glasses, some cosmetics, meds and spare contact lenses in a small Atout pouch, Kindle, B&O earbuds in their case, Tulipomanie giant triangle, notebook and small pencil case.

I'm traveling with my mini Evelyne tucked inside my roller bag. I have a bigger cross body nylon Prada that I am in and out of all the time, much more functional with zippers and such. Then I tuck the Prada into my personal item for boarding. For this trip it's a Tumi with room for my laptop and any odds and ends I might need during the flight. It's a cross country red-eye flight. I have a lot of stuff to manage!

Thank you for the idea! I packed mine inside a backpack that I used as my personal item to maximise how much I can carry by hand.

I just got back from Singapore and Japan, and I packed my lil Mini Lindy with me, along with a Chanel Mini Rectangular CF, as well as my Fendi x Porter nylon baguette. The Mini Lindy and Mini CF both have bag pillows, and on the outward journey, were nestled within my rolling cabin bag, and on the way home (thanks to further shopping, LOL), they were kept in my Goyard St Louis, which went under the seat in front of me during the flight.

I used the waist straps of the Fendi baguette, to wear as a fanny pack during the airport trips, and it held my passport, phones and wallet, which saved me time having to rummage through the St Louis to look for things...

i love my lindy 30 as my travel bag too!

i brought my k25 out once on a trip to japan, but i dont think i would do it again because it doesnt hold as much and was kinda cumbersome with the winter jackets and all

i carry my bag onto the plane as is, so far there are specific compartments which allows me to stow my bag into so i dont have to slot them into the overhead compartments

I'd never put an H bag into an overhead compartment either (unless I'm in row 1, and then only for takeoff and landing). Too great a risk of damage.

For those of you that travel with b/k on the plane, how do you do it? I just came back from a trip and one of my other designer bag has a cut on it from the TSA conveyor belt :(
I bring one of those foldable totes that I prefer to have with me when I travel anyway. It comes in handy very often. I use a bin whenever possible

The B goes in its dust bag, which then goes in my LV (along with other carryon items), also in a dust bag. So far, so good!
This is exactly what I do but I use a backpack and make sure that it’s all neatly packed before I enter the security line. After TSA checks my ID, I stuff all my smaller items in my backpack (e.g. phone, boarding pass) and zipped before putting it through the security conveyer.

The goal is to get in and out of TSA as fast as you can so the more prepared you are going in the faster the line moves. I’ve seen too many people trying to put their small items on those little doggy water cups and they always fall out by the end.
