This is exactly what I do but I use a backpack and make sure that it’s all neatly packed before I enter the security line. After TSA checks my ID, I stuff all my smaller items in my backpack (e.g. phone, boarding pass) and zipped before putting it through the security conveyer.

The goal is to get in and out of TSA as fast as you can so the more prepared you are going in the faster the line moves. I’ve seen too many people trying to put their small items on those little doggy water cups and they always fall out by the end.
after seeing some horror stories on the news of TSA stealing the loose things in bins and from the round trays, DH has been instructed to zip everything in the outer pocket of the carry on. I do not have anything in my pockets usually. Everything goes in my purse (I guess I have to justify having this many by using them for their intended purpose  )

Given how often my DH asks me to put his stuff in my purse as we go through security, he shouldn’t argue when I insist that I may need another 😂

I'd never put an H bag into an overhead compartment either (unless I'm in row 1, and then only for takeoff and landing). Too great a risk of damage.
so far business class still ok.. the overhead compartments are usually empty for my flights.. lindy is still ok, i wouldnt risk it for my kelly or birkin though😂
else there are other places to stow away to.. i do bring a eco tote to place my bag into when stowing it away

Yes, a Lindy in Clémence is well-suited to whatever storage we might need to use. The soft structure is forgiving, the leather is so sturdy and the feet add peace of mind. International business class is usually ok in terms of overhead storage space, although I'd still prefer not to risk it because of the possibility of it being squashed if my other bag moves in-flight.

Depends on the leather probably - I just travel with my Barenia pieces or my Fjord bolide (well, I don’t own too many other bags 😂) and they take a beating. In Business international Bs go first in their sleeper if lucky, otherwise I put them top of my other carry on to avoid squeezing during flight. K (it is a 32 sellier) mostly stays with my, I don’t want the structure to be squeezed too much - so at my feet or other space as available, sometimes with a sleeper.

i do that too! i have designated grocery totes for each bag😂
its light and small
sometimes it gets crowded in a mall, i whip out my tote to hide my bag inside
I 1000% use the grocery bag/tote method for airports. Protective, and incognito! I use those slightly padded insulated grocery totes that have a zipper across the top so it just looks like I’m carrying a big lunch onto the plane 😁

I need to travel regularly for treatment four times a year. The flight duration is 5 hours. I usually travel with an H bag. Sometimes I place it inside a Longchamp bag, and other times I use cotton pouch bags to save space. I never carry them in a suitcase.

Aside from that, during vacations with the kids, DH repeatedly prefers that I don’t use the H bags. I assume it’s not because of having to carry the bag(s), but because he’s worried that if they gets damaged due to the kids, I won’t stop talking about it.:biggrin::biggrin::biggrin:

I like to travel with my herbag. I keep the phone in the outer pocket. It is a pain in the butt to take things out of the main compartment but it checks so many other boxes: light weight, easy to clean, long strap, spacious, good looking.

YES, I do! I always bring 2 bags of my high-end collection with me when traveling to nice locations and for vacations. (I wear my Hermès bags only on special days (never to work) and each vacation day is precious and special )

MKII is DH's favorite as hassle-free and no drama during flights and airport security as this little bag fits so easily in another carry-on bag.

I usually travel with my Kelly 28 and put in a longchamp tote when flying as well! It’s so convenient and sits perfectly on my carryon
