I travelled to Japan with my constance24. It became quite tedious after a while as l was also managing a young child and trying not to get the buckle scratched. I ended up using a nylon shopping bag for most of our outings😂
I also travelled solo with my mini bolide. It’s the perfect size as it can fit all my essentials including passport (required to claim tax free shopping)
Not that it would deter thieves but i put apple airtags inside my bag/s: handcarry, and checkin. Also inside my wallet if it’s bulky enough to fit an airtag. Great way to track your belingings whereabouts at least. When i was on the train In Italy, i tied my XL trolley bag to the luggage rack at the back with a bike cable lol that can be unlocked with a code, and sat at the last seats or closest to it or within view.
I usually also bring bags that can fit into a mini safe inside hotel rooms. Especially if i am bringing more than 1 hanbag which i will be switching between. B25 and K25 and below usually fits.
To add: i also bring one of those packable nylon totes that’s super duper packable. I put my B/K inside it to protect the leather from the elements (dirt and scratches) like when going through airport security carousel and also if i have to put the bag on overhead bin. These nylon yotes are paperweight and not as baggy as longchamp lepliage. And can double as an airline handcarry bag for all that i have shopped for in europe (e.g. i leave w 1 checkin and 1 purse; and i arrive w 1 checkin, 1 purse and 1 handcarry)

Heading to Japan soon for a two-week vacay
and wondering if I should bring my K28 retourne (Fauve / Barenia Faubourg) or K25 sellier (Noir / Epsom). I'll also be bringing my Mini Evelyne (the best mini travel bag). We have a few fancy dinners here and there. K28 retourne is much easier to get in and out of, but K25 sellier/epsom seems to be the sturdier option. A little concerned about K28 being too big?
I brought my B25 to Japan last time and didn't love the fact that I didn't have a strap.

I generally only travel with my feutre mini tpm evelyne. I have traveled with my so Kelly elan bc it has a shoulder strap and is slim. For dressier restaurants, I might bring my BBK longue wallet as a clutch. If your choice is between a 28 and 25 K bags, I’d pick the sturdier smaller one. Have a great timeHi all!
