A very strange comment indeed.....what type of outfit did you have on when she said that? LOL!

I have never thought of any jewelry in particular 'slutty' - it is really out of context.

why would someone say that having a diamond on your right hand be slutty.
there is this thread about what you wear on your right hand and i have to say these ladies have some very nice if not outstanding pieces of jewellery for the right hand.

i would wear a diamond on my right hand and i do plan to in the near future.

I think you just ran into a loony person. It reminds me of the girl who got heckled and followed by an anti-fur person because she was wearing fur. I know that it's not exactly the same situation but you don't just attack someone on the street like that. I have lots of friends who wear their e-ring on the their right hand and wedding band on their left hand.

I believe that in Europe engagement rings are worn on the right hand. Using that logic all European women are slutty?

Why do nutjobs spends so much time worrying about what other people are doing that might be slutty?

Huh? I live in Europe and wedding bands and e-rings can be worn left or right depending on preference or religion. I feel sorry for the ignorant (and rude) person you met.

It sounds to me as if you just ran into a loony toon. I have NEVER heard anything so ridiculous! And she would probably demand that I be burned at the stake -- I wear a 1.5 carat five stone band stacked with an Elsa Perreti band on my right hand

Hahaha ohh I was afraid I was gonna come in this thread and read that everyone thinks they're slutty! That's just crazy! I'm wearing one on my right hand now and I get complimented on it all the time :)

That has to be one of the most strange comments I have heard. Ignore it & wear what you want. As others have stated, jewelry isn't "slutty". Clothes, people can be, but not jewelry.

I wear a diamond ring on my right hand and my ER on my left hand. Never heard of it been seen as slutty. Gosh i would like to see someone tell me it was! Aren't some people vile. Maybe she was just having a pop at you??
