Do you still buy silver pieces? or have you 'moved on'?

Thanks very much. I totally agree with you - the bone cuff is so nice in silver. Alas it looks rather ordinary on me . i love it on others though !

Thank you ! I havent seen the wave earrings in person. The store I am near is a smaller store and they dont get everything unfortunately so I often have to order pieces in (doesnt worry me though I am grateful I get to go there). i might take a look online and see if anyone has posted some shots of them on.
I know what you mean with the cleaning. I have the Marrakech earrings in silver and cleaning is hard haha!

absolutely understand and agree with what you mean that your skin tone has a lot to do with what you like wearing.

I see what you mean that your skin changes over time. Did you sell any white gold and platinum pieces as well? Or just the silver? Sorry for so many questions!
I can see myself wearing them with some outfits for sure.

I agree I usually buy more dainty pieces in gold as well. We must have similar styles

It so does look cool in SS! Yes maintenance can be a bit over the top. RG is very nice too !

Yeah variety in your accessories box is certainly helpful. thank you i see what you mean

I have sold a couple of platinum pieces but the majority of my more expensive Tiffany jewels are YG and RG.

I love everything you chose! I understand your dilemma as Tiffany doesn't do much in white gold or platinum.

If you feel you are a silver person then go for it! Me personally I'm not buying the silver pieces anymore, I do have and wear alot of there silver pieces but given price increases id rather grow my gold or diamond collection now.

thank you :) we must have similar style ! i love all your pieces too :)
im still trying to decide haha. i do like some of their silver pieces as i like the designs, some of them would be very good going out pieces. For the time being i might save up for some other stuff (the victoria earrings) xx

Yes definitely gorgeous going out pieces! I hope to add the wave earrings and a version of the link earrings you shared but im thinking yellow gold because of the price points of the silver. You definitely can't go wrong with the Victoria earrings! I have them in medium and wear them at least once a week.

Hello !
I am still wearing my silver collection and I abolutely love it! (I have one silver arm and one gold arm hahaha so one is fully Tiffany!)
I find them lovely and very "Tiffany" But I must say they are also very emotional for me, they are the first pieces of jewelry I bought for myself when I started studying.
So far, never had problem with them tarnishing if I wear them... But as soon as I don't... it indeed becomes a problem (and I have too many bracelets/necklaces, so I just keep my favourites and the others wait).

I've moved on to rose/yellow/white gold (with diamonds when available!) and never looked back. I haven't worn my silver bow necklace in so long that it now needs some deep loving polishing before I can wear it. But not really a point in polishing if I'm not going to wear it afterwards either lol.

I have a silver bone cuff, and a few pieces I haven't worn in years. The few other silver pieces I have are from David Yurman-the large cable bracelets and a heavy large link necklace. During the Covid shutdown I haven't been wearing jewelry much other than my Tiffany diamond/platinum wedding rings. I don't foresee buying any more silver jewelry. I love yellow gold.

So I stopped buying silver pieces years ago. However I am considering adding one more - a Bone Cuff.

To be honest the main reason I stopped buying silver was the maintenance followed by the fact yellow gold looks best on me.

I think that if you love the pieces then go for them.
Great choice! i own a bone cuff in the small, and i'm considering buying a size medium.
thanks very much. i see what you mean there is some maintenance involved.

these are the pieces i was referring to. i think in gold or rose gold too much for me to carry.
The pieces you are eyeing are beautiful, and definitely looks better in silver!
I started with platinum pieces, then YG, then RG and then silver. I only have three silver pieces and I don’t plan of adding more unless they make a piece I want and it’s only available in silver. I do love my bone cuff and bean necklace which I think looks best in silver.
I love sterling silver for it’s warm hue. I choose platinum for it’s durability, and for anything set with diamonds, but just think silver is a more gorgeous color for a white metal. I think both Tiffany and Hermes use such beautiful quality sterling silver, and it’s never rhodium plated, thank you very much! So I’m happy to continue buying sterling pieces from both Tiffany and Hermes. I also continue to love and buy yellow gold. And not everyone’s cup of tea, but I love polishing silver!
same here! I agree with all of this! I have a few silver pieces to include my bone cuff.
I still buy Tiffany's silver pieces, but only Elsa Perreti's designs. Have only one set of the Return to Tiffany's pieces in small heart necklace, earrings and bead bracelet. I only wear the Return to Tiffany's pieces with super casual outfits, never to work or out to dinner/lunch/coffee/tea. More like grocery store or quick shopping trip for the Return to Tiffany's pieces.
Same, most of Sterling silver pieces I own are Elsa Peretti designs, my absolute fave! Since getting my colours done, it was determined that white metals looked best on me. prior to that, I chose white metals including silver pieces even though i own a few gold pieces. I plan on picking up the medium bone cuff next.

I find sterling silver too troublesome to maintain - I rotate jewellery and some pieces are left untouched for months, with the sterling silver always ending up black. Then I'm forced to to whip out the baking soda + foil. Gold and platinum are just so carefree that I don't feel the need to buy silver (unless it's a design I really, really like).

Did you know that some jewellery boxes will prevent your silver from tarnishing? My silver doesn’t tarnish! Look into it maybe?
