Do you regret buying a Chanel White bag?

I bought my white M/L in 2006 to match my J12 and it still looks very new. The color stays bright white after eight years. I don't baby my bags and even poured red wine on her one time. I cleaned it with water and it's totally fine. I did have second thought about her since the color is kinda hard to match most of my clothes, but I'm glad I keep her. It's a great summer bag.

I have looked at White Chanel Flaps on Fashionphile & Yoogis and have noticed the three white Chanels they have had on there recently (both Lamb & Caviar) have all had some yellowing - mainly on the back pocket (around the edges). Before I buy any bag I always check reviews on here and also You Tube and then I look at the pre-loved sites because that is where you will see how bags wear and what faults they can get. I try to do that before I part with my money and have regrets.

I would not buy white - only because I have seen the yellow on those older bags and as it is unavoidable it would break my heart.

I really want a white flap m/l ghw - I live in the UK and although the weather isnt always great enough to wear it , we do have some breakthrough hot days to wear this colour .

I didn't really think about the yellowing that some have mentioned here , but some say no discoloration has occurred. Surely if you baby it / clean it once per month etc you should prevent this ?

I think it's better not to buy a bag of white color because the skin of the bag could be changed to black with the passage of days 😕💔

I love chanel white lambskin specially with gold HW ( Ultimate luxury at its purest level lol). I have cavair white m/l too but lambskin is my fav.
My 1st pic is my m/l with milky lambskin (Matt gold hw) from last year.
2nd pic is my latest acquisition (1st sales bag ever! ) buttery milk with Matt gold hw again. I also wanted a white tote but wasn't able to get it. So, I have used and enjoyed both white bags and I will continue to wear and enjoy them until death do us apart lol. If you wear them with light clothing you should be ok. But bags meant to be used and once they both get really dirty ( like it came out of coal mine as tutu mention) I will send it to spa. Mean time little dirt here and there I use meltonian cream to remove or cover them.
I must say only you know how it feels to keep or a sell bag, and what makes you happy. You may never regret selling it but I can't part with my whites and blacks.
Both bags hasn't been out for 4,5, 7..years or so to claim they are horrible but I don't mind yellowing too ( I will call it my cream, Ivory, eggshell color bags) lol

I am talking about my experience with light-colored bags and I bought a bag from Burberry and the color changed to light black in a very short period i don't used now thats why i do not like to buy white bags

I have a white vintage Chanel that is still white (not yellow) and it's my most treasured bag in my very small Chanel collection. I don't regret purchasing it one bit and in retrospect, I'd pay twice as much for it as I did when I bought it. Yes, I love it that much!

I just sold my stark white Medium flap from 2006. The outside was still as new but the white inside leather lining had turned yellow. My mother sold her white Medium Flap 2 years ago (same batch) and it had turned slightly yellow. She was afraid the yellowing would get worse and therefore sold it as long as the condition was still great. We live in the same climate (not humid or warm). Both bags had been used very occasionally only and stored in a dark and dry place.
