I am a blend of the classic and the trendy. Of course, I have the classics, the pearls, the smaller rings, and ladylike watches.
But I have to tell you I am wearing Big watches and get jewelry to balance it out. However, I don't spend tons on trendy stuff. My dressier, classic pieces are the investment pieces.

I have a few trendy things, but if I'm going to spend serious money, it's going to on something I can wear forever, not just for a season. Any trendy stuff I have is pretty inexpensive.

Same here. I love beautiful classic stuff, but I'm only 19, so I like to buy trendy stuff, too. I'd never spend a lot on trendy stuff, though.

I enjoy both thoroughly. I have a bright orange (like construction worker orange) tote with a brown leather handle that I LOVE (I don't know who makes it - got it at a boutique I passed one day), a kelly green Kate Spade - I cried when I had to trade her out; but for more expensive bags, or those I plan on carrying long-term and keeping for more than a season, I like classic bags. My LVs are all those that I plan on carrying for years. I don't care for the LE in those. Too much money for a season, at least for me.

I used to wear very unique and unusual pieces, but the thing is that I found I could only wear them a few times as they were so 'unique' so to speak. I might still break them out after 20 years - who knows, they might turn out to be highly desirable .

But at the minute, I'm into wearing hardly any jewellery and any that I do wear has got to be extremely simple, but I'm kind of open to it being very modernistic, yet very understated. Doesn't have to be classic or trendy, but it does have to be timeless and gorgeous.

I prefer classic/timeless jewelry but do own a few trendy pieces too. There are just days when i want to wear something unique but i have set a certain budget when buying trendy jewelry as i do not wear them as often as the classic ones.

I prefer classic jewelry. I don't own any costume jewelry at all. Every day I wear my diamond studs and wedding set and sometimes one other piece.

Both but I like unusual jewelry, beautiful stones, unique designs. I have plenty time to wear classic jewelry when I am a older woman. But right now that is not where I am at.

Yep I am with you there.

I'm a student at the moment so I don't even own anything particulary expensive except for a few beautiful pieces of jewellery I have recieved for special birthdays etc.

As for clothes an bags it is a mix. Again I don't own anything terribly expensive. But i do have some nice pieces that I use and I also love the trendy things. But I never spend to much money on trends especially with clothes because they come and go so quickly.

But when it came to purchasing my ering I knew that it was important to save up and spend wisely and buy something that was good quality and a style that would last.

I guess when I have a proper income things will be different and I could think about purchasing so classic pieces.
