Do You Prefer Size 30 or 35 Birkin?

T, I love both sizes on you, truly. You can carry either off easily. That said...I agree with vreelandia...I don't think of Birkins as evening bags generally, given their tote styling...would you do a Kelly or a clutch for evening or even a 27 cm Bolide?

^Thank you Pepper! I do have a 28 Kelly, but I'm often rushing from work to (often times) a last minute dinner. I carry a Birkin during the day, so I think the 30 would be a good transition..well, I hope!

They both look good on you. But I do like the 30cm a tad more, it's more chic and less casual. Esp for your requirements and in Rough H. I'm also torn between the 2 sizes and standing at 5' 5.5", 120 lbs, I think I'm even more in between than you (32 would be the best but not into HAC). :s

I think your pics are pushing me towards the 30cm, esp since I would be using it for work to evening.

ms cupcake, you are stunning!!!!!
30 is my vote for you
if i may, my heart is in the 25 etoupe!!!!
i carry my 25 (togo chocolate)and go to market with my garden party
(dark ivory and buffalo chocolate): my "twinset"!!

I am either in a lab coat and/or scrubs with danskos or MBTs,
jeans, brown loafers, simple tops and cardigans.

I only have a 35 cm to speak of and well it's definitely the right size for my height (5' 8") however it's quite heavy when only carrying the essentials (it's in Togo) so I do think about trading it for a 30 cm in a lighter leather. My dream is to get a 30 cm in boxcalf.

ITA with lady bracknell. For me i would prefer a 35 or even 40 given my height (5'11") and weigh ard 135lbs pre-pregnancy. I always felt that size 30 and below are for petite babes... :roflmfao:

I also do agree with ozzysmom that the 35 togo birkin is dann heavy even on its own but a 35 epsom birkin felt like feather. I guess its not the size that matters but the type of leather you choose. :smile1:

I only have a 35cm and I have to admit it is not easy to organise. I scrounge around in it and if it were not for the Hermes cache??? In my midnight confessions; I don't really love it. I love the outside. I don't love the inside. Can you relate this bag to people?
If you don't love the inside;can the outside make up for it?
I love that my bag was a Birthday gift, and it was MY desire.
I think a 30 may have been less cumbersome. ( I am 5'5"-130 lbs today)

So funny. You write like Carrie Bradshaw from Sex in the City. To love or not to love? The inside or the outside? The love of a lifetime. Have I exhausted my chance already? Such philosophical ponderings. So cute.
