I prefer optic signature - especially the fun ones (bumble bees, lady bugs, fish, etc) I love the leather ones too but I find I'm more likely to spend my money on something colorful and bright and fun looking...

I like the signature, but I like the muted signature (like the black on black signature). I am now starting to get more into the leather bags and less into having CCCCCCC all over my bag.

After having a leather Coach all these years, I'm leaning more towards Signature now. I especially love the Carly and Ergo Signature bags because of their shape. I used to not like Signature because I felt it was showy, but as long as I buy it for me and not other people, I don't care. Plus, because they're neutral (brown) you can wear them with anything too. :D

I love both, leather and signature. But I own all signature, because, where I live, most people won't recognize bags without the signature fabric. I know that it is about more than just to be recognized, but what is the point spending that much money if know one knows it's Coach. If I lived in a more fashion conscious area, I would probably have just as many leather as signature.

I also like the patchwork bags because there is a little of everything in them and they are colorful.

I prefer the leather..always have..However I DID buy a signature piece a few years ago..HAD to have it..used it once..in my closet it sits...I don't mind the CC's on wristlets or wallets but don't like them on a handbag..I agree w/ other pf'rs here..CC's are popular with the younger girls..I'm 40 and and they're not for me...beautiful bags..always admire..just wouldn't buy them for myself...

I bought my first leather bag this year, and now I am hooked!!!!!! I still like sig for casual days, but I think I am now officially addicted to that beautiful leather!!!!

I love all leather bags- like others, I think they are timeless and more classic. However, I did buy 1 signature item last year- the large soft signature tote w/large Cs and gold trim item# 8626. That was the only sig bag that ever appealed to me. I had it work one day, and one on my coworkers called me a "show-off". It makes me want to sell it.
I love Coach, but I am not trying to show off!! I am in my 30s, and I have many Coach bags b/c I LOVE them!!

If you bought it because it made you happy, why would you want to sell it? I could give a rat's butt about what people on my job think of what I wear. I almost enjoy it when they act like that, because then their true colors are showing. :graucho:

I have to vote for leather also. However I have really fallen for the big c's on the Carly and Ergo siggy. Don't own a siggy piece yet - but will soon. I think the Carly wristlet is adorable.

Coach leather is beautiful. I prefer the all over leather bags over their signature lines. Their leather just gets better with age. I'm not sure about their Sig or other bags.
