Ok I am officially sick. I have an obsession with matching my wallets. I usually use either a black bag or a brown bag. I have a coach signature tote that is goldish C's kakhi background with patent brown trim so my wallet is a regular brown that ALMOST matches its close enough. Black wallet with black purses. I am trying to phase into different color purses and I want to be able to change purses more often but I am finding that changing the wallet every other day is just too much, but I don't know if I can bring myself to not match them up. Any suggestions for a kakhi and goldish bag???? Could I use my plain black wallet? I might start twitching. I need help! I want to change.

Nope, my wallet does not match any of my bags, but is a nice neutral metallic colour (gold/silver) so that it doesn't clash with my bags. Not that I would care anyhow - I fell in love with the wallet and had to have it, matching be damned!
Currently I'm using a black leather wallet from a local brand..it has been 3 years and looks like it could last a couple or more years..
I think this is a gorgeous match! I just retired my 10 year old Derek Alexander black leather wallet (boo hoo) and bought a Cole Haan Butter yellow wallet that I am really beginning to love. I bought a Coach signature checkbook large in op art black with beige C's but exchanged the first when the jacquard started to unravel and then returned it ultimately because the second one didn't even line up well and that bothered me to no end. I mostly carry MK bags (red, the new large gold satchel and the large camo satchel), a Fendi, Ferragamo, Minkoff, Coach in a gray/blue, and I cannot even remember the others right now, and the wallet doesn't match anything. As long as the wallet is clean and holds everything I need, I don't care if it matches at al - in fact, I never even considered it!
Nah - not a fan of matchy/matchy. If they coordinate...great, but I don't lose sleep if they don't. DH bought me a gorgeous Brahmin zip around croc wallet in red for Christmas. I don't own any Brahmin bags as they aren't my style, but the wallet is great because between the color and the texture it's always easy to find in even my biggest bags. She's happily snuggled in my black RM MAM right now and they are getting along just like peas and carrots.

No way should it matter...I use to be matchy matchy wallet & purse.
But for the passed few years I'll carry my LV ebene damier zippy compact wallet with any brand purse...
I think it's fun and keeps things interesting heehee!

Girl, I havent matched my bag to my wallet in years. I have a Burberry wallet that I LOOOOVEEEE and it goes in all my LV and Gucci Bags. I personally don't like the uniformity. So go for it hun, be different!!
I'm pretty sure more than half of women are in the same boat. Changing wallets is a headache. Especially if you have a lot of credit cards and store cards.
