Do you match your wallet to you bag?

I have a few matching wallets -- mostly if I got them at a great price. Otherwise, I just choose a wallet that complements whatever bag I'm wearing for the day. Initially this was because I couldn't afford to buy matching wallets for all my bags, even if they were available (which they're often not). Now, I really don't care if they match as long as they go together well.
I'm the opposite, I don't think I'd ever intentionally match my wallet and bag exactly - if you mean same color same collection same designer. That's too matchy for me!
Right now I'm using LP Dylan wallet in black with a black Kooba Chase bag, they're both matte black leather with the same color brass hardware and they both have a young punky look to them. That's about as matching as I go.
I'm going to be getting a lilac colored Treesje hobo soon and I don't know how well the wallet will look with it (black and gold wallet with lilac and gunmetal bag) but they're both *my* style so I'm not afraid to wear them together.

I used to do that when I wore Coaches. . . everything matched--even cosmetic bag. I got tired of changing things all the time. It took awhile to break the habit but I eventually did and am much happier now for it. I don't care if anything matches anymore.
Nope! I actually try to have my wallets NOT match my bags! (They are easier to find for one thing..)

I have a brand new gorgeous Marni wallet which I bough in Milan and it cost a fortune. I came home and bought a beautiful new LV Artsy (which I am so in love with, I haven't put my stuff in it yet) - so my question is (since I can't really return the wallet bought in Italy and sales receipt not located) is it okay for me to use the wallet with the LV? or is that just not okay? Thanks. Really poor planning on my part.
I think it looks good when different brands are used together - insted of that 'uniformed look'. As you as you love each piece i dont think it matters.
Use your wallet and enjoy it. Matching is nice, but certainly not necessary! Many people love bags so mixing up wallets is common. It allows for multiple bag purchases. 
Goodness, if I matched my bags and my wallets I'd be up to my eyeballs in credit card debt! I have to admit I don't mind the matching look but I don't do it and definitely don't see the need to do it. The only way I'd consider it myself is if I like the design enough to own more than one piece of it (I'm considering this with LV Damier) but even then it wouldn't be an intentional "I have this bag so I need this wallet to match it" sort of thing.
