Do you like to wear any jewelry on your feet in summer?

I have sterling ones and 2 or 3 gold ones that I made from chains that I no longer wear. I haven't worn one in a while but maybe I'll put one on from time to time this summer.

I don't wear anklets but I think toe rings are still very much in style and (at least in Florida) many people wear them. Of course we live in flip flops 9 months out of the year lol so that could be why too. I love my toe rings and wear them 24/7 in the warm months. The only time I will take them off is if I'm wearing a closed toe shoe with a cramped toe box like a pump and they will bother me, but otherwise I don't even feel them.

I love toe rings!! I had several really nice ones but lost them. I can't find any nice silver ones out here! They are all junk or plastic! Where did you find those?? They look cute... I have toe envy now.. Lol

LOL thanks. The set of 2 on the left I got from a women's show a few years ago. The one on the right I just got a few months ago at an arts festival we had here locally. I spend a bit more on my toe rings as I like the good quality ones that are fitted instead of the adjustable ones as I wear them often so I know they will last and not turn or dent.

The booth at the arts festival was this company http://www.barefoottoes.com/jewelry/index.php but I'm sure you could also do a google search and find the good quality fitted ones as well. I think most have instructions on their website about how to size your toe, or even if you have any sorts of arts or crafts festivals in your area, check there because usually there are booths that sell them and will fit you right then and there.

It doesn't look like they have them on this site, but google toe ring sizer and you can usually print out a small strip of paper that has sizes on it and you can use that to wrap around your toe to find out what size you'll need. When you do that though, make sure to slip it on and off over the top of your toenail so you can get it on and off. It's supposed to be a bit tight to get over the top where your nail is, but will be looser around the actual toe itself...just don't want it to fall off. :smile1:

I have a 14kt gold anklet I've worn on my left foot for years. It's a bismarck link (I think) so it lies perfectly flat against my skin. I never take it off, not even for very formal events. I love it and feel really weird if I ever have to take it off. Come to think of it, every man I've been with has had a foot fetish…hmmm...

This may sound funny, but my grandmother wore a 14k anklet her whole life, 24/7 year round. As far as I know it was the same one. She was almost 80 when she passed away. I remember when I first noticed it as a child, it made her seem a little more glamorous, in my mind anyway.

I wore one when I was younger in my 20's & 30''s on and off.
I sometimes want to start wearing a gold one again, But I pretty much live in socks and laced up shoes now, so not much point. Maybe this summer I'll try it again even if I'm the only one to see it, lol.

I've known a number of older women with a serious love of jewelry so your granny doesn't sound strange at all! I wear my anklet with socks, boots etc. During winter months the only time it's exposed is when I'm home but then I get to enjoy it. I like looking down at my feet and catching a glimpse of it. It's a bit of unexpected glamour! It will take a day or two to get accustomed to it as you know but I love mine. You should get another one!

Thanks! Yes, I think I'll try again, I may even have one of my older ones someplace here, lol.

Your granny sounds like she had it going on! 😄

I say go for it too. Even if you always wear lace up shoes and socks when you are out, you can enjoy your anklet when home and barefoot or even at night/ bedtime. Who cares if anyone else sees it as long as it makes you happy!
