I do have more than I need (paid over retail for a set of macarons and have BIE 6-box on the way) but that’s my limit. They’re my favourite ones and even paying over RRP on the macarons it was less than I’ve spent on some jellycat key chains in the past. I actually think their RRP is very reasonable but I’m sure plenty of people are paying more than what they can realistically afford to keep on this trend.

I grew up on the other side of the country so unfortunately I didn't get to the museum until I was an adult. :)

My sister also was a fan of Belle. We played with all things Snoopy constantly ...

Although I posted that I don't like Labubu and find them a bit creepy I wanted to state that I'm a 65 year old woman and I'm happy to wear charms on my bag..I love Hello Kitty, Miffy, and Studio Ghibli characters .
I find a lot of the Jellycat characters adorable -and I have a hard time stopping myself from buying them cos I'm not a soft toy collector and don't know what I'd do with them..
I dont think anyone has the right to pass judgement on anothers fashion choices.
I've worked as a fashion stylist for over 40 years and I'm a firm beliver in people wearing what makes them happy whatever their age.

I still think Monchhichi are Labubu's ancestors

So cute! Love the green gradient! I got a BIE coming too (not Serenity). I had no luck getting the tempura shrimp last week when my local store had an online drop (the site crashed for me at restock time!!). Also got another SkullPanda.

My lil booger is called BiEbub-Serene.

It’s funny how we’re traveling similar paths: I have two SkullPandas (winter symphony & l’impresssssss) in transit to me from PM. In addition, I was lucky to checkout with a Molly Pocket Friend and Crybaby Concert Series. I’m gifting my sister Molly and CB. The dopamine comes from beating the bots. And being able to surprise family members with adorable plushie pendants!

Cute name :). Yeah for your new ones coming :thumbsup:. Do you have any winter symphony already? I am interested in trying one. I agree a part of the fun is in scoring them :lol: And how wonderful you can gift them to your family too. I want the pink HAS and EM Labubus. But my big thing is that I dont want any duplicates so I am trying to limit myself to 2 per series. I took a chance with my in-store blind boxes purchases (vs with pop now, at least I can make sure I don’t get duplicates) but luckily, I don’t have any duplicates. Oh, this morning, Amazon had the L’impressionaire actually available for check out, vs move to cart only but then no stock available :lol:)

Ditto- the few times I ended up with duplicates I gifted them - except for the pink HAS, aka the twins, that have befriended my Lafufu. No Winter Symphony yet - I was surprised they were/are available for purchase on PM. Lately the pick up in store option has been a bust - my location, World Trade Center, has extremely limited stock/product offerings. And the location is currently relocating to a bigger space within the building.

I hope that this is not too off topic. Initially I said that there was no way I was going to buy a Labubu but now of course I “need” one. I am nowhere near a Popmart physical store. I have spent most of the morning online trying to buy one. They will be reserved for a certain amount of time that I can see but once the time is up they are immediately reserved again; I am unable to reserve one. I am on the app. If anyone is willing to share any tips on how to buy one without going to a reseller I would appreciate it!
