Do you have an (Hermes) clutch life?

this thread has been very informative as I’ve always been a daytime clutch person and saw H as a daytime clutch brand. I’m also pretty informal and dress in jeans and a jacket usually. I used to own the Jige PM in black, noisette, rouge H and ciel box. I would slip them into a double sens or other H bag that could hold work related stuff, then take only the jige to lunhc etc. I liked that it was flat, no hardware, and could be held easily against my upper arm and body. Then I decided the H was too logo (Don’t know what I was thinking bc it’s very subtle and moved on too hastily) so I am looking to repurchase in a an H blue. I wear blue with black, beige and brown (Loved Lanit’s posts and pic on p. 4) this thread was a good reminder.

Dianes pic of the octagone here make me think I will hop on H.com to see what there is. I also belatedly realized that mini bags are back (yes I live in a fashion cave so bought a box kelly longue wallet (as an preliminary experiment to see if I want a bigger kelly clutch bag. . . I’ve gone out twice with DH since covid (outdoor seating restaurant; don’t want it to rest on the table) and find it sits nicely under the napkins on my lap or tucked against a chair arm. it is also incentive to diet bc when I am heavier, I prefer a larger clutch. . . ( if I could use emoticons on iPad, it would be a sarcastic roll of the eyes).

Also on my list, but delayed bc I cannot decide on size 23 or 29 is a medor. I like Diane278’s action pics of larger medors very much and am leaning 29. Pic on the bottom shows the kelly longue wallet on the bottom, chanel crossbody chevron so black mini on the top, plus my new prescription horn sunglasses from Morganthal frederics that i love so much I wear them around the house. The mini bags and wallet as clutch is a style aberration for me as I tend to go large in clutch form.

Kelly Cut (Sesame)- Just got right before Covid so haven't used yet
Kelly Danse (Bleu Nuit)-Just got this week so haven't used yet
Kelly Depeche- (Bleu ?) I love it
Jige (Noir with lizard) I love it!!

lejic, there are plenty of choices should you wish to go preloved. I bought a chain d’ancre crocodile clutch with a pristine body but dry hand held handle. my mom borrowed it a few times and the handle cracked - she had no idea; she’s just hard on her bags). I then did a Docride spa, had the handle removed and replaced with an optional Evelyne strap. The bags price pre-loved was 1250 usd (Malleries) The strap was maybe 500+ usd from Brand jfa or Brandoff. The second pic is crappy, my apologies, but the bag has two compartments, and the main one has a full size coin pocket on one side with two open flap pockets on the other, then the outer compartment, and there is also this cute little mini leather envelop.
measures aproximately, 9 inches in width, 5.25 height, 1.75 depth. a long wallet like the azap will not fit bc of the gussets. I think preloved vintage H had a lot of these extra convenient details.

Oh that looks good! Because it used to have a handle it's obvious that those strap-hooks were meant to be there, they look like they belong (vs chain inside wallet-not-meant-to-be-crossbody and stuff), so I love that.

Ooh I am a total clutch girl! For me clutches are not just an evening bag but something that can be during the day and can transition from day to night. My favorite clutches from Hermes has to be Kelly Cut and Kelly Pochette. And even though mini Kelly is not technically a clutch but I use the mini Kelly the same way as I do the clutches - always, any day and any time
