I would NEVER carry my Hermes in the rain if I know it's going to rain that day. When I do carry my Hermes (which is very rarely), I always carry the rainkit with me. Goyard is the one bag that I will carry for rainy days.

Definitely no fabric/suede bags, and no to my (soon to be mine) chloe python silverado.

I guess I try to "shield" my bags when it rains, but my balenciagas survived pouring rain on more than one occasion--didn't know it was going to rain & I didn't have umbrella on me :push: I just need to air it out and it dried overnight with no stains :yes: Gotta love low maintenance bags :love:

I would never carry my Dior Rebelle - I try to take my Prada nylon in the rain - sometimes you don't know it's going to rain which is why I always carry a plastic bag big enough to put my bag in if I'm caught off guard.

:laugh: i know it sounds crazy, but the rain does not damage my spy. All the times it downpoured, i mean downpoured like a shower, i coincidentally had my spy or gaucho w/ me... and it recovered 100%. Like it never rains when i leave the house, only after :nuts: and i carry an umbrella w/ me at all times but it's one of those super tiny ones so it protects parts of my spy.

I'll carry my LV stuff in either Damier or Epi...oh, and my burberry too. ..hmm, will never carry my lambskin GD or my Mulberry rosemary.
altho...i got caught in an unexpected storm once with my mulberry which turned out ok. no water stains at all! i was impressed but will not take the chance again!
