Yep, one of my best friends. We go shopping together every couple months, and then go out for cocktails after. Ahhhh. We actually met as coworkers years ago, and would go shopping on our lunch breaks!

I also have a long-distance friend in Chicago, and every time I visit, we have to hit Michigan Ave.

Yes! I have one. The last time I went shopping with him (yes, it's a "HE") was in Singapore and I ended up coming home with 3 bags (1 Chanel, 1 LV and 1 Gucci + a Gucci sandal). And that was a just weekend trip to attend a friend's wedding. I have not regretted anything that I have bought based on his advice. I call him my "Fashion Consultant". Of course it will be too good to be true if I told you he is straight (which helps because he is the only guy my DH doesn't mind me spending a lot of time with. :wlae: ). He's now in Houston and I miss him so...:crybaby:

i had two shopping buddies, one from back home in Malaysia who's currently in Australia, and another one who was my dormmate in Buffalo but is now in London :crybaby:. now that they're both away i have no one to shop with except my boyfriend, who's really good for giving his opinions on the stuff i like, but like all men, can get impatient after a while :rolleyes:

another person i can really shop with is my mom, because she loves bags and shoes as much as i do, but she'll all the way back home in Malaysia, so that's not much help there either :crybaby:

Shopping buddies are hard to come by, and handbag shopping buddies are even more difficult! My cousin loves to shop for high end bags but she lives in NoCal. My mom would faint if she knew my bag obsession. My fiance can't stand shopping, period. I've learned to rely on my TPF buddies to coach me through my handbag purchases, and they're GREAT! ;)

My Dad is my bag-supporter (oddly enough), and I've managed to convert my Mom (so we can now share bags, and the cost sometimes!). Having a bag-buddy is a little dangerous, cause I've had instances where we'll end up with the same bag, really tacky if you hang out a lot.

No! :crybaby: And my family is very hostile whenever I get a new bag- and every time, without fail, my mom says "think of all the clothes you could've gotten with that!" I try to explain to her that used clothes retain very little of their value ( I usually only keep clothes for 6 mo. at a time) while bags aren't nearly as bad, esp. when you consider how versatile they are.
