I don't!

My friends all think it's insane to blow so much moolah on bags. But we've all just started working, so I'm still "brainwashing" them in hopes that I'll be able to lure them to the dark side when we start making more money. ;)

I have a couple, the ones who cannot get enough bags...and then there are the ones who "balance" out my crazed obsession and smack sense into me during bag-buying season. So it evens out wiht me getting the bags I really *ahem* need, as opposed to the ones I'm dying to have atm.

Yes, I have a couple of bag buddies who've shopped with me and understand my appreciation of B-bags....however, they themselves have never owned one. It's just nice to go shopping with someone who won't look at me like I'm crazy for wanting to spend upwards of 1K on a purse.

Yes, my best friend Erin is my bag-buddy, we've been friends for 14 years, and we love to go shopping together! She isn't as addicted as I am, but we both love Coach- her first Coach was given to her by me as a Sweet 16 gift, but her collection is smaller than mine, but its a lovely collection. We actually have the same bucket tote- mine is black and white, and hers is blue and green striped, we've worn them at the same time unintentionally, I guess great minds think alike!

My other best friend, Regina is a bag-buddy, she really can't afford designer bags (she carries fakes, but if I can get her a nice Coach at the outlet, I'm getting it for her because she deserves it because she's had a rough year), but we have the same taste and she always notices my new bags. And we have fun shopping together, because we tend to be a bit... obnoxious and loud when we're walking around the mall, lol.

And my mommy is my bag-buddy, I always ask for her opinion on everything- bags, clothes, shoes, boys (lol). I'm always stealing her bags, lol. She knows what I like, we'll be in any store and she'll pick something up and I'll love it, and its for herself, I'll tell her that its awesome. The only thing is that she buys me so much stuff, but she doesn't buy anything really nice for herself, so when we go to the Woodbury Outlets, I'm buying her stuff.

The rest of my friends can't seem to understand why I'd spend over $100 on a bag.

kathyrose: what a great thing to have a bh that not only supports your "hobby" but who actually enjoys it!

D & G rockstar: I also like to shop by myself and take my time but sitting down for a nice lunch afterwards and sharing is really what I'm missing

It's great to see how many of you have actually bag- pals, for the rest of us we do have at least this forum which I grow more and more thankful for.

although all my friends that i know love and respect designer, but i never shop with them....:confused1: ... i prefer to shop myself or with my dear BF, :))).... i found that it is very nice to shop with him coz if i shop with a girlfriend, i am afraid of any "competition" or "jelousy" may arise between girlfriend, and i prefer to avoid it. My BF himself is a very fanatic of Bally, and he is very understand bout my passion in LV and Hermes. However, he cannot understand my passion to balenciaga, :)... he always say, "for that price, why dont you buy an LV, :supacool: "

I do have a few purse "shopping buddies" BUT, none are as hardcore as I am!:s Out of all my "buddies" my 21 yr old niece is probably the closest to being hardcore, because she knows someday my collection will be hers!:graucho:

My sister in law is my shopping bud for diamonds...handbags no...she will not spend over $100 on a handbag. So I shop alone...and Im okay with that. My online shopping bud is Selena. I tell her about all my bargains and vice versa.

I actually prefer to shop by myself for bags because my friend even though shee likes my bags isn't into buying them for herself and it always ends up that I don't get to see all bags I want. She always has enough after 2 or 3 stores and after her doing it on my birthday I don't go bag shopping/looking with her anymore.
I love to go cloth shopping with hubby because I can be a srootch when it comes to cloths and don't want to spend that much money on it but he's a real enabler and he enjoys cloths shooping with me even if we go and look for bags he's really patient and never pushes me to hurry up.
But I enjoy it the most when I go on my own for bags. It might be different if I really had someone who would love bags as I do but because there isn#t anybody out there at the moment I stick to myself.

I wish I had a bag-buddy.:crybaby:

I do not know anyone (in real life) who loves bags like I do. Who could spend an entire day going from store to store, looking at and trying on one bag after another. Someone who would be soooo excited about my new purchases.

Maybe someday I'll find someone in my area who feels this way and we can bond.

Nope.
I usually end up dragging my husband with me. But he runs on a time limit - there is only so much looking at bags that he can handle. So I have had to perfect the 'walk through'.

Every once in a blue moon I will find a girlfriend that is willing to indulge me in bag shopping. But only one in particular really gets it.
