I will be the first to admit, I overanalyze everything like you wouldn't believe so just stick with me!
I wore my fishnet peep toe louboutins to pick up my alterations the other day and I was looking in a mirror in the department store and I was wondering if the heel was just too high. I am over all a classic dresser, nothing is ever overly short... Just wondering your thoughts on the heel heights mainly. I know this is a dorky post. I'll just go put my tinfoil hat back on now. :p

I don't feel slutty when I wear my 5 inchers. I guess I kind of feel a little wierd (just a little) wearing CLs (especially high heeled ones) because I feel like people are staring at me thinking "show off".

in all seriousness though i am usually a conservative dresser so i think my shoes add a nice balance. hey, don't your shoes say a lot about a person...:p

I agree with bogeyjay. It all depends on what you are wearing. You can wear 120mm every day and look professional, but if you were to pair a Pigalle 120 with a little mini skirt, then yeah, you'd look slutty.

I was at VS the other day buying the $25 hoodie before they were gone. I was wearing my magenta pigalle with a purple almost knee length dress, I was on my way to a bar. There were a bunch of older asian ladies in the Pink room and I noticed that they kept staring at my heels! My bf noticied too...we were in line and he's like "uhh those ladies keep staring at ur shoes...I dont know if they like it or is offended by them". Hahahaha....that was very akward. I swear I didnt look like a slut tho!

I never feel slutty in CLs. But I do always feel bad when I see a woman in Rockports.

I love CLs for the "pin-up" old style glamour ... think Ally's heels in "The Notebook."

DH saw me in my Architeks the other night and he said:"Boy, these sure are slutty looking." And just the other day, he thinks they are very classy.

You can't deny that they are crazy sexy shoes. Say what you want but a lot of CLs are attention grabbing and that's why many women love them! But it's not just being sexy. There's a big difference between lucite stripper heels and a pair of CLs.

I love how CLs can be sexy and classy depending on how you wear them. I don't care for the word slutty and Dh promises not to use it again but I love the way his eyes bulges out whenever I dress up in my CLs! :nuts:

i think any pair of heels esp stilettos can look chic or slutty depending on what you wear...i usually dress pretty conservatively so i feel like the louboutins balance it out and give the outfit a bit of an edge. although i sometimes do feel self conscious in high heels. just yesterday i broke out my greasepaint simples 100 and as soon as we were out the door, we walked past a couple and the man said loudly as he pulled his wife to look at my shoes - "now THAT'S a high heel!" i found it amusing but very weird...
