Do you carry your bag on the left or right side?

Which side do you prefer most?

  • Left

  • Right

  • Either side don't matter. I'm comfortable and switch between both.

  • It depends on where I wear it, like my arm, shoulder, hand, etc. Combo of both.

I always start on the right hand/arm or shoulder. But, I will periodically switch since I get sick of carrying it in one position all day. However, I tend to carry my bags more on the right than on the left. Except when I am writing...then it's just a PITA and I always switch it to the left hand side lol

Just curious, a question for those of you who love carrying totes and handbags, over which shoulder do your straps go, and are you right-handed or left-handed?

I'm right shouldered, right-handed and want the zipper pulls to be in front of me when closed, that way I can fish out my wallet and keys while I am still wearing the bag without having to take bag off shoulder and set it down. 90% of the handbags out there unfortunately have zipper pulls that go the other way, 8% of bags have it just the way for me, and 2% of designers are thoughtful enough to provide 2 zipper pulls so the bag can be zipped closed either way.

I assumed since most people are right handed, and zippers go the other way for me, perhaps then I'm wearing the bag wrong?

I am right handed but I do everything with my left hand. When I was younger I started writing with my left hand but my parents kept putting the pencil back in my right hand, so it became habit to write like that but my brain processes everything else with my left hand.
