Do you carry your bag on the left or right side?

Which side do you prefer most?

  • Left

  • Right

  • Either side don't matter. I'm comfortable and switch between both.

  • It depends on where I wear it, like my arm, shoulder, hand, etc. Combo of both.

This is actually very interesting! I am right-handed, and I always wear my bag on my right shoulder. Sometimes after a couple of hours, my right shoulder will get a little sore, so I'll switch the bag to my left shoulder. But it feels so weird and awkward to have my purse on my left shoulder, so after a few minutes, I switch it back to my right. :p

It seems to me that although I am right/right, that some of my bags face 'forward' on the left shoulderand look better that way and show off their decorations and hardware. That is so annoying since it is not comfortable for me to wear a bag on the left.

I am right handed, but will wear a shoulder purse on my left side, even if its a handbag I will carry it in my left hand or on my left arm. It doesn't feel right being on my right side, how weird specially being a right handed person.

Right handed, purse always on left shoulder! So it is much easier for me to grab with my right hand into the bag while holding it open with my left hand (bag still on shoulder).

I always phone with my left ear, too... ;-)

Right handed, left shoulder. Left eared, too.

The odd occasions I have put my bag on my right shoulder I felt as though I had my clothes on backwards. I want my right hand free for keys, picking things up, etc. and don't want my bag interfering with whatever I am doing.

Now I am going to have to people watch too!
