Do you always have a fob on your coach bag?

Lately I'm finding that a lot of my bags have too much going on that to add a fob would be too much. This is probably because I tend to pick the fancier styles. In other cases, there isn't a good place to attach a fob where it will be seen. The best bags for fobs have rings on the front rather than on the sides.

A lot of my bags have the big tassels or multiple hang tags so a FOB just looks tacky. I'm glad Coach is getting better about adding stuff to the bags, though.

now and days i'm half and half......i think in the beginning.....before the Legacy collection for sure i'd add a fob to add some more color a POP of cuteness to a bag. But now i sometimes dont add anything but mainly b/c most of my collection are Legacy bags. Sometimes i'll dress up my Hot Pink Gathered Lindsey with a HK charm or my "chunky rhinestone fob" but then sometimes i add nothing b/c shes so BRIGHT....................i'll still add fobs to all of my bags if i feel like i can rock it but i dont feel like i'll ever go overboard

For me, it depends on the bag and where I'm going. If it's a plain, leather bag, I'll add a fob or scarf to it for that extra POP. If I'm going somewhere that requires a more subdued appearance (interview, wedding, funeral) then no. There's nothing wrong with adding something fun to your bag if it makes you happy. As for childish, I will be turning 40 this year and will be as "childish" as I please because I've earned that right. There's no formula or right/wrong, only what makes you happy.

The only one I have is the result of needing free shipping on fos. It's a suede purple bird and kind of cute on the gunmetal tote I have it on, but I don't think I'll be getting more anytime soon.

I mostly own vintage bags which mostly really need an extra pop of color to make it a bit more noticeable. It irks me when my fantastic vintage leather gets ignored while somebody's fake coach standing next me gets commented on LOL. I generally always have some kind of fob, some are more ornate than others depending on the need of the bag.

I have 2 vintage now (a grey Court and a mahogany Willis) and I bought a couple of lambskin tassels on Etsy just for them. I'd put a new Coach one on them, but I just like the unique colors of these tassels more: one is chartreuse and one is lilac.

I put my grey tassels, (from a duffle kit) a scarf or a fob on my black Rory most of the time, because she's kinda big, so I like to add a pop of color to that big ole canvas of space.

I didn't on my cb Candace or camel rory... I felt it didn't suit the bag at all. I plan on hanging one on my future Preston though! Lol
