Sometimes. Like jessi I mostly carry classic bags and it's fun to dress them up a little, I like the new tassels. Overall, I would use fobs more if the "jingle" didn't get on my nerves.

I think I'm done buying new ones for a bit, at least. I just got the little bird with free shipping on the FOS. Don't get me wrong, I think its adorable, but when I opened it all I could think was that I was silly for spending even $13 for the darn thing.

I'm anal about the condition of the fobs / keyrings. ( I wish I wasn't, but I am and the older I get, the worse I get. :p) I want them to stay in the condition that I bought them in. I do have a few doubles that I can use if I want to.....like the legacy hangtag ones and a suede fringe one with tiny hangtags at the ends of the fringe.... and I do use my legacy tassels.

You've had the best bag / fob match I've ever seen with bag and little flower / daisies fob.
Thank you! I love matching the fobs to the bags. I haven't noticed any wear on the fobs I use. I have two of those suede tassels with the tiny hangtags. I attached them together. I bought one of them and then another one was listed as such a ridiculously low price that I had to get it.

It's funny that I feel more that way about my bags than my fobs. It is really difficult for me to cut the tags and carry a bag for the first time. I don't have that same issue with fobs.

Sometimes as others have said, I often buy with a particular bag in mind and leave it always attached to that bag. What annoys me about fobs is that mine always flip to show the plain side, if you know what I mean. I also forget I have them sometimes and made a vow only to buy fobs/charms with leash clips
I hate it when they flip. It seems like I'm always trying to make sure they are facing the right way. That is one of the reasons that I'm moving away from the metal fobs that have a bunch of charms on them. It is almost impossible to get everything facing front all the time. The tassels and hangtag fobs are wonderful in that they are perfect no matter which way they are facing. I also hate that often there isn't an ideal place on the bag to attach them, and the dogleash clips stick out at right angles to the bag.

Well, I don't have but a handful of bags, but I hate to cut the tags on them too....but I eventually do and use them....wellllll, I still have a couple of bags with tags. :shame:

I have a couple from last year that I finally decided I'm not going to keep. It sure took me long enough! I have one that I'm planning on cutting the tags today.

I used to use a lot of fobs on my bags but lately I find I'm liking my bags more plain. Just boredom I guess. Just the other day I even took the tassles off my Candace and even considering taking the hangtag off!

I usually have fobs on my bags; I tend to find one that looks good on the bag and tend to leave it on the whole time I am carrying the bag. I try to buy fobs on sale at the outlet but in total I have spent a lot on them.

I have been trying to hold back, this weekend they had the legacy flip flop sandals with pave crytals for $19 at the outlet but I walked away!

I already responded to this thread a while back, but I just wanted to say that in case anyone considers using non-coach fobs, I was at Michaels (craft store) today & there was a wall of super cute & pretty fobs on clearance for $1.99! I don't really use fobs (I only have 2 coach ones) but I was very close to buying this silver peacock feather type fob w/ a stone on it. I've been thinking I need to go back!

Ooh I think I saw the same fobs on Sunday but they weren't on clearance. There was a really pretty fish in silver with a lot of stones on it. Maybe I'll go back sometime this week to see if they're marked down.
