Eh who knows. I honestly doubt it though because it doesn't have obvious logos like the mono does. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but in my experience, most people who only plan on buying one LV buy a monogram one. That and they're good bags to start out with.
But yeah, I really don't think they will.

And I also agree, if it makes YOU feel good carrying it, that's all that matters. What others carry shouldn't dictate what you carry

Nope, I've only seen one damier piece carried and it was the Rivera.
