I understand it is very easy to make rushed decisions with H bags. The bags are so beautiful and especially in the beginning I struggled with the B35/B30 sizes. Nowadays my favourite is the B25. Luckily I really need bags in different sizes even if I mostly use my baby Bs. The fact that there is no H store in my country has pobably saved me from many spontaneous purchases. I also found after rejecting politely an offer on the phone that it became easier.

After reading your post, I thought about what you stated.

I have a couple of Bs that are 35s. I love them but they are too bulky for some aspects of my life. Then I have some Garden Parties but they only work for me (in terms of style) in the summer. (Personal thing.) The other bags I have are the day-to-night versatility. A navy halzan, a black HAC, a Etain/Ebene Kelly. However they are dark, and thus only good for fall/winter. So having the Etoupe or something similar that I can use year round, day-to-night would fit the need in my collection I think. While I have the DS, it is only casual. So the Etoupe (or GA if it is my Etoupe alternative) would fit the need, I think. Though appreciate any alternative thoughts on that.

This is my last B for awhile. I hope to find some colorful Bolides on the second hand market over the next few years and but otherwise, I think I will be set. So I think I am feeling the pressure a bit to make the right choice as a result.

Both bags are B35s. The B30 is a better size for my frame and needs but the B25 is my favourite size. I only use B35s for travel and as a weekendbag when I go to the countryhouse. I carried my ébene B25 barenia today with an ivory white outfit ( we have snow) but I plan to use it a couple of times in summer too with white though I think my fauve barenia B25 will be used more. The fall/winter colours can imo be used in summer too but perhaps not vise versa. I get/ need variety from the Bs especially in summer with my mini barenia halzan, small indigo18cm picotin and silkycity. Even if I consider myself a B person I’m going to add a classic K to my modest collection within 4 months. If I like the bag I might buy another. All neutral colours of course :)

Congrats on your beautiful B, it’s absolutely gorgeous!

lovely grey collection u got there! glad u bought the GA birkin, and they are definitely not repetitive in terms of colours nor style

How do you think it will work with tans/browns vs. Gris T? I love them both and would favor Gris T with tans/browns, but it's so light that I worry about color transfer. If Gris A looks good with tans/browns, it just very well may be the perfect neutral color. Has anyone shared photos of Gris A with a tan/brown clothing look?
