Ive had a preloved classic jumbo bag that didn't come with the storage felt, so I decided to make my own; as well as share how I store/maintain my bags. If you are bored over the weekend you can do this too!

Disclaimer: This is how I store my classic flaps to maintain its shape and prevent dents from the heavy chain. Sorry lots of pictures...

I've visited my local craft store (Michael's arts and crafts).
What you need:
3 felt soft felt sheets,
Non sew Iron on Velcro strips
A craft pillow.

The pillow is nice because I can adjust the amount of cotton inside to get the perfect shape. ImageUploadedByPurseForum1412397260.594951.jpg

Once I get the ideal shape and size, I place Velcro above the zipper so I can fold it over to tuck the zippers in(prevent scratches on leather from the zipper).

You may also tuck the chain inside to pillow to prevent denting the interior with the heavy chain.

Next cut out the felt parts, my preloved bag did not come with these. I used the one I have for my other jumbo flaps as a stencil.

Thanks! Great detailed instructions for your project, in total awe of your ingenuity. Most of my bags are older with missing packing so I'll be following your instructions and protecting my bags when it gets quiet over the winter.

Thanks again for sharing!

Definitely let me know how it turns out!

I think I will be going to michaels and buying more pillows for all my bags, paper kinda loses it's shape and flattens over time.
