I went by my outlet after the gym tonight and boy did I get some goodies!! I almost walked out of there with the gigantic Mickey doll because he was on clearance for $375, but alas I have pets and he would not be able to be out on display. Anywho, I got the black Mickey scarf, yellow wristlet, and watch. Are you ready for this though? The watch was priced at $250 and I got it for $62.50!!! That scarf is soooo soft and will be perfect to wear on the plane when I go on vacation.View attachment 3739434

Awesome haul! I've wanted that watch since the line came out. It sold out while it was in my cart, before I could place my first order, and the closest outlets are each almost 3 hrs away.
 
I was at the Vacaville CA outlet last Thursday and was surprised at how much stuff they had available. I'm glad I didn't buy anything when the items first came out. I ended up saving an extra 20% on top of the 50% on these 2 items.

So I went to Vacaville outlet today and was able to get a price adjustment on these 2 bags. I bought them on June 8th so I was within the 14-day limit. First they said I had to have the items with me at the store (not just the original receipt) but after I explained to them I wasn't given that info when I called earlier and that I live 45 minutes away, the manager was kind enough to make an exception for me. They did a return and repurchase using my original receipt. It was a difference of $86.95 plus tax. Woohoo thank you my purse fairy [emoji1]

I bought them on the online outlet site. I called the outlet CS. I thought since you had 14 days at the in store outlets to get PA that they would do the same for the online outlet.


I'm sorry to find this so confusing....are you saying that as soon as the FOS went online this morning, your two items had not yet gone on clearance, so you paid the asking price and moments later they went to clearance???

If so, I don't understand how or why they didn't open the site with the correct (clearance) price...IF THEY DID DO THAT, I would pursue speaking to a senior manager or CS from Jax, or ANYONE that will understand that your sitch is a "Switch & Bait" issue!! If you're not firm with them, they'll walk all over you, because technically their rule is "no PA from FOS" but that does not address the Switch & Bait they pulled on you (even if it wasn't intentional).

When these similar annoyances happen to me, (not necessarily Coach, just services in general), I refuse to give up if I know I'm in the right -- I hope I'm not stressing you out, lol...just sharing my experience with sales or service reps that don't care about the customer.

Oh, lol...I was wondering how they had the nerve to do that!

I still don't get which one the online outlet is -- other than the FOS and Coach.com, is there an additional online source?? Is online outlet just another name for Coach.com?

I think I need to let this go -- doesn't take much...:giggle:

FOS is the same as the online Coach outlet which requires an email invite to be able to access it. Email address and password required.

Coach.com is the full price one with selected items currently marked down 50%.

I experienced the same thing in the past (probably a year ago) with the online Coach outlet/FOS. The bag I purchased was cheaper a week later due to another online sales event. I called customer service multiple times, landed a different person each time and they all said the same thing to me. They do not do price adjustments. They said re-order the item (at the new lower price) and then return the original item (higher price) to an outlet store.

Which is not only odd as it is going to cost them more to process returns, process new order, ship new order...but really sucky for anyone who has to pay to return (ie Canadians) or wait 1 week+ to even GET the item because of processing & shipping times. I have not purchased off the outlet, but I can see determining that the hassle was not worth it for anything under $40-50 in savings - something they count on!

Correct! (IF FOS = coachoutlet [dot] com - purchased Sunday on that site and Wednesday the price was 1/2 what I paid but everything I bought was sold out so I couldn't buy again).

Well I've decided I will return one and keep the other (unless I don't like them both). It is just depressing to buy something and then literally 3 days later it is $70 cheaper (and it hadn't even shipped yet!). If that is their policy obviously there is nothing to be done about it. But I am going to seriously reconsider purchasing again from the online outlet due to this. Depends on the item. I know they totally play games on pricing at the brick & mortar outlets so it is not surprising that they do it online too. I just wish the PA policy was the same across the board.
