A search shows that Uber-Luxe is Eric Rogers, who was formerly at eBoutique. Does that ring any bells?
Or perhaps you signed up at site that shares its members' private information?
I keep a separate email address for signing up at sites because of issues like these.

I don't believe I have done business with eBoutique ever either. Obviously my private email was sold/given away 
I never sign up on sites that I am unfamiliar with using this particular email address (I use a separate address as you do for this sort of thing). I am still trying to figure this one out. I do know that a former member was associated with a particular reseller (can't remember the name though), and I am wondering if she gave my address away 
Our email in-boxes are really no different than our IRL mailboxes. At least with emails, you can always unsubscribe or just hit the spam button!

just received a pre-loved and lovely shawl from banina00. i think the shawl is from 1994 and the condition is marvelous for a shawl this age. it really seems rather tough too, unlike current cashmeres, feels very different than my newer shawls as well. i am amazed!

I agree. Sam is a great person to deal with. My bag arrive the next day and was in better condition than expected.
Have just bought an H scarf from Hong Kong seller trendyground2009 and wanted to report a flawless transaction. The seller let me know when the scarf was being sent and it arrived as scheduled a few days later. Postage was signed for but very reasonable (only $10 from Hong Kong to the UK).
The scarf is 15 years old and was very stained, which was reflected in the purchase price. The seller was careful to photograph all the stains (in addition to the usual title, caretag, copyright, etc.), so there were no nasty surprises (quite the reverse in fact, as it's now been washed and all bar two very minor stains have come out).
So to cut a long story short, although I'm trying to curb my H habit, I suspect I'll be buying from this seller again soon!
