Just another little update on my transaction with nadiebo123; I received the item today and far from being "New with Tags", it is quite badly scratched (it's a scarf ring) and obviously well used.
My original quibble here had been that she had charged me 20 to post this item; in fact it cost her 5 to send it and she put it in an ordinary brown envelope, not even a padded one. It was inside a miscellaneous jeweller's box which was too bulky to go through the letter box and because it wasn't recorded my postman just left it under the edge of my doormat (not impressed, Mr Postman!)
I have emailed her letting her know that I do not want it given that she misrepresented the product & would like her to refund my money plus whatever it costs to send it back to her. I don't think that's unreasonable, is it? Waiting now for her response...
Has anyone else had a similar situation, and, if the seller was unco-operative, was the supposed protection that Paypal offers of any use?

I would not recommend buying from uber-luxe if you are living outside US since he is fussy about the mailing address that makes me feeling he doesn't really want to sell the item.
But I have no problems with Sandiaexchange and she is excellent and accommodating to all my needs, perfect transaction, perfect communication and perfect bag

I don't mean to attack any seller, but please check your confirmed address with *bay before you purchase/bid
I BIN-ed a scarf from rpg212 about 12 hours ago but I still haven't heard from her. Is that normal?
steakfrite, I BIN'ed something from her yesterday and she said she is traveling, and would mail my package out on Monday (tomorrow). So she is probably in transit at the moment. Do not worry!
