I purchased a beautiful red medium flo on ebay from Canada...paid for the extra in shipping due to condition. It is lovely. Original with leather key holder too.

Waiting on returns from DB.com...been over two weeks since items were returned and received by them. This is annoying. Most companies let you know when the refund is going through...DB.com is a wait and see. I think I will stick with posh and ebay. This has become tiring....

I'm guessing you checked your credit card account and your Dooney online status too.
I returned a bag to Dooney.com after the holidays. It took about 2 weeks for the credit to
go thru. I got notified by my CC, not Dooney. But once i knew the bag was delivered to them,
I figured it was in a big pile of post holiday returns to be processed. And, I even got
my return shipping refunded (amazing) because the bag was clearly defective.
That rarely happens.

Be patient and check with them in another week if you don't see a credit on your account.
I don't know if the processing time takes longer with different payment methods....
debit cards, credit cards, Dooney pay, Paypal, etc.

Yes...I will keep checking weekly and asking for updates. I think I am done with DB and ILD. I get much better deals on ebay and posh. Paying about a 25% for the same things brand new on these sites. It's too bad but their customer service really has turned me off. Too many hassles

Couldn’t agree with you more. Never ever have I run into crappy customer service like this. It’s unheard of nowadays. I have yet to receive a return call from a supervisor regarding my bag. They are supposed to call me to reorder a bag for me. t this rate I should be expecting my bag in May! I’m seriously considering telling them not to bother and just credit me. I’ve lost interest.

this was supposed to be an exciting time :(

It makes what should be a special occasion cheapened. We love waiting for our purchases to come...that was likely my first caution...I purchased a steel blue medium satchel 7 months ago....they didn't ship it for 2 months...always on back order...I did cancel the order after 8 weeks. I should have been leery but fell in love with a few others....I'm done...particularly with DB...ILD is a bit faster with returns...but I shouldn't have to pay anything to return a purse that doesn't meet my standards. So that annoys me as well.

Had I realized their customer service was so terrible I wouldn’t have bothered either. It’s been two weeks where a supervisor was to call me back to place another order and I haven’t heard from anyone. I think I will just do a straight return and take my money elsewhere. This is literally the worse customer service I have ever seen!

Yeah I would not hold my breath on a call back. I'd just return it. I use their sites DB and ILD to preview what I want to buy and then hunt for it on the secondary market. I have returned all the handbags I have bought from this site...I just kept the wallets and accessories I purchased. I was just so upset about the treatment I have received, tarnished my thoughts on ever buying from these sites again. The dooney pay was another issue all together. Can't trust that they are taking out the amounts in a timely fashion. I am still waiting for returns and it's been 3 weeks.

I returned a bag on 1/12 and am still waiting for a refund. They did answer my emails and said it takes 3-5 days to “process” and 7-10 “business“ days to refund. I picture some lady sitting in an office with an adding machine and a calculator.

Then... I look and admire the beauty of the bag I received. It’s not the colour I expected and it has that small quarter size mark on it BUT I really really really wanted this bag for almost 3 years! Should I just bite the billet and settle? I’d still be happy just not as

A new bag with that mark on it? I don’t think I would settle even if you have to wait a while.

Probably right. I’d end up regretting it every time I see the mark!
I think you would and get more and more irritated. I do not mind marks that come from ordinary wear and tear and I do not go over my bags looking for a non-perfect stitch. But that mark is not acceptable.
(I don’t mean to imply there is anything wrong with people who are bothered by stitches. We each have our own level of acceptance).
