Hello! sorry for replying on an older thread, but I was wondering if you could share how you like the jacket? it looks fabulous on you. I was looking for a light jacket i could wear for spring.
I'm not the OP, but I have this jacket in both black and cream. I wore mine throughout the winter as a top since winters are mild where I live. Depending on where you live, it's the perfect between seasons jacket. It's lightweight but still warm - i love the material. One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a larger bust and plan to wear it fully buttoned, you'll need to get some adjustments done.

Does anyone have severe issues with loose threads on designer cashmere or other knits?

I intentionally don’t wear certain jewelry etc when wearing knits. The snagging and loose threading only seem to with with Dior and Chanel. No issues with LP (to be expected) but oddly no issues with medium tier brand knitwear (theory, max mara, Vince).

Is it just me or has anyone else had issues with Dior?

Thank you! I think you were referring to the white/cream one? Very comfy. Runs tts (and is forgiving around my mid section)

Agree with @LKNN that it could be worn as a top or as an in between seasons jacket. I am not full busted, but I don’t wear it fully buttoned either. In my pics it gaps a little.

@hermesandchanel , I have a bit more of an issue with Chanel than Dior re snagging on jewelry. I basically just put jewelry on after I get dressed and take it off when I get home. I don’t have much of an issue with flat finish knits whether medium tier or premium. ETA: forgot that my Dior tulle skirts snag on everything, but that is to be expected since. . .tulle. I’m just lucky I don’t step right through them.

I have the same routine with my jewelry! and the same with Chanel too... but I genuinely dont think i am snagging ( i dont feel it). I thought it was the cleaners as it was returned ti me with a bunch of loose threads (interior)...but I cant imagine they only choose to mess up the Dior pieces again and again

I feel like a bit of a fool. I looked at last seasons look pics with my SA and I got all excited. The NY flagship was supposed to have items ready for purchase, and I was hoping that my SA would wheel out a rack of gaucho pants, bar jackets, dresses…. In burgundy or wine color.

My SA said consolingly to me that they’re basically all black. They just look burgundy bc of the effect Dior wanted for the pics.

The pieces ARE gorgeous if uou want black. And there is plenty of other stuff… there will be different launches. Too many for me to keep track…

But this looks burgundy to me lol. I just wanted to put this opinion out there in case anyone else thought this way…

Oh love it !! How was the fit ? The butterfly long dress I had to size up one but the map dress I was able to go w my usual.
I didn't get to try it on! This event was basically a presentation of the fall show they did in Brooklyn a couple nights ago. They had some models who you could ask to try on the pieces, but they didn't have dressing rooms for clients to try things on. I just bought my usual size and am hoping for the best when it arrives lol.
