Difference at all? MC from 2003 & today?

Just wondering if anyone could help me... is there a difference in the MC line produced back in 2003'ish and the canvas produced today? Were the colors of the lettering brighter or has anything changed at all?

I don't know if this is true or not but some people have told me that the canvas is thicker. I would like to know, as I just purchased an black MC speedy made in 2003.

Never really made a comparison in person, but I've been told that the new ones have fixed the yellowing and red-alcantara bleeding problems that happened to the original batch. So your best bet is to get the newer bags
