R.P. has a distinct style, all his songs are very similar. Id say that a sign of a talented musician.
I just DLed the new Ryan Adams and then I listened to this, and it seems kind of like this, although RA doesn't have as many downbeat songs in the new one as he usually does.

seriously, of all the new music and bands, etc i've heard and liked in the last long while, he's got to be the top of my list. and he's not even formally doing it!
even if he was some random, plain looking, nonactor, struggling musician. the fame and face really isn't what makes this good, lol. seriously.

i personally love his singing style, it's very old blues/folk/van morrison. it's so distinct.
everytime i come to this thread i always think it's such a shame that i don't have an album to listen to, i constantly go to youtube and listen to those songs.

I tried to look for ripped mp3s, but I think you're better off doing it yourself off of youtube. Does anyone know how to do that? There is some program, I THINK...

You all know how Rob can never sing a song the same twice, so this is like another Let me sign version.
"The original version is just sort of bits and pieces of when we were writing it. So, no, there's no real original version. What it is, is we wrote a song... I came back to Canada, and kind of switched it up a little bit for myself. Melodically, what we originally wrote is probably closer to my version. But Rob, when he plays music, he's really in touch with what he's doing, so he plays a song differently every time. Any song, it'll never sound the same. It's really cool, he's really in the moment.
