Did you know that Robert Pattinson(Twilight) is a singer/songwriter?

In an interview with the LA Times, Rob mentions that one of his songs is featured in a scene in Twilight. He is singing! Did you see the new trailer - it seems like you're watching half the movie. It's pretty good, using all the best Edward lines!

^lol yeah! maybe because the full trailer is so similar to the teasers that came before..?

i saw the tracklisting for the soundtrack, i was happy to see he's got a song on there. but weren't there supposed to be two?? either way, i'm not gonna get greedy, i just want to hear the one that's on there ;) and supposedly all those songs are actually in the movie, so that's great.

Theres a part in the book, the character plays the piano for Bella. Apparently it was going to be one of his songs but they reshot it to match the book. Don't know why.

here's a clip of his latest performance

i think he sounds amazing, as usual!

i wish i could've gone to this show. the fact of who he is aside, i'm more excited about his music than i have been about any band or artist in a long while! and honestly, i had never heard of him or really cared all that much before he started getting exposure for twilight. then i stumbled across his music and now i'm a huge fan of his :D

ITA..I was listening to a bunch of his music on youtube and just wishing he had a CD out, not just because of who he is, but I love the style of music and his voice is really cool and unique. I love it.

^i hope he knows he's got fans of his actual MUSIC out there. someone's gotta encourage this kid and let him know it's not just the novelty of his newly found fame or the movie that's getting praise for his music... :D

^i think the director said he thought it was a little too personal to him and not the character. ah well, i would've loved to see it :crybaby:
Yeah I saw an interview w/ RP about it and he said the director said the original song fit better w/ the rest of the movie, and his version of Bella's Lullaby seemed out of place:confused1: dunno what they were thinking, but oh well, at least he will be playing the other version in the movie. And I can't wait to hear him sing in the movie, his voice is really beautiful.
